Career objectives
I am an enthusiastic and professional marine engineer, I have strong ability to manage
repair sector and all marine projects from Initial conception to successful completion, I have
around 11 years experiences in marine field with many shipyards in middle east and oil & gas
rig projects, during the work years with my educational background in marine engineering I
gained excellent practice in inspection, estimation, planning, coordination and management
of any marine project. Due to my experiences I have obtained knowledge about marine
unit's survey works and Classification rules
Objective
I am looking to progress into advanced position within the marine services field. I am also
hope to apply my developed visions in marine projects management system.

2. Study and Collect of information from the drawings, manuals, classification society
standards, Rig survey and any available source to write the work procedures.

When we receive the tenders request from the owner The Following steps shown our
procedures and job responsibility:-
1. Study and estimate the work break down structure, time, materials and man-hours in
estimation sheet which help us to determine which activities cost according to tariff and
others need to estimate. Also which items need to apply the inspection trip
2. Check the availability of which work activities to do.
3. According to our marketing studies, determine the work activities which need to buy
new the material to know the present cost.
4. Responsibility of preparation of reliable cost, time and labor estimates for ship repair &
conversion jobs
5. Analyze and interpret technical specifications, reference drawings, technical documents
and regulatory body regulations
6. Conduct ship checks to determine the work scope
7. Review data to determine labors, material and subcontract requirements and prepare
itemized estimates
8. Prepare quotations and proposals
9. Consult with clients, vendors or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and
resolve issues
10. Finally after quotation accept and work done we prepare the invoice according to
completion reports and quotation price.
Project Manager:
Managing & supervising repairs / modifications/ conversions for ships & Oil rigs repair, involve
for modification and conversion work according to ABS and BV class (7 nos. Jack up rig, 6 Nos.
Tugs and barges, 18 nos. Utility and AHTS Vessels, 3 nos. searching vessels and two crew boats)
as the following;-
Receive the scope of work from the ship repair manager.
Co-operates with the ship’s staff and superintendents in order to:
Inspect and identify work onboard.
Define priorities & monitor distribution of work force.
Provide solution to technical problems arising during working.
Estimate time, materials and man-hours for each activity.

Create working Plan for repairs activities by using M.S Project or Primavera 6 programs.
Passes on any necessary information to all stakeholders to ensure the planning is carried out
