EPINAUT™ spring guided epidural catheter is a specialized catheter for pain relief at cervical or lumbar region. EPINAUT™ spring guided epidural catheter is constructed from a continuous stainless steel spring, introducer needle and adapter. EPINAUT™ spring guided epidural catheter is able to enter the epidural space around the spine and deliver medication in order to treat the cause of pain.

CLAIMS FOR CLINICAL PERFORMANCE- EPINAUT meet the requirements of ISO 10555-1 standard.- Catheter is composed of corrosion resistancy material.- Leakage is not found at the pressure 3 kgf/cm2.- Force of break(tensile strength) is more than 15N.- Catheter can be recognized by C-arm or other X-ray facilities.

CONTRAINDICATIONThe use of the EPINAUT Spring Guide Epi-dural Catheter contradicated in patients who: are unwilling, uncooperative or un-able to give consent; or have local or sys-temic infections, bleedings disorders, aller-gies to the medications to be used during the procedure, anatomical derangements that may prevent procedural success or needle phobias.

COMPLICATIONSEpidural catheter complications are very rare, but when they do occur they can be serious- Post Dural Puncture Headache- Seizures - Backache- Cauda Equina Syndrome- Total Spinal Injection- Anaphylaxis- Neurologic injury- Spinal Hematoma
