delegates WantedLMVA Delegates held a Special Meeting on February 9, 2016 and voted to amend the LMVA Bylaws. The amendment now requires members to own property in the delegate district they represent. This has opened 43 delegate positions in the association districts. If you have ever wanted to serve as an LMVA delegate, now is the time. The following districts are currently open. If you own property in one of these districts and are interested in serving as a delegate, please refer to the contact information below for details in regard to delegate elections coming up this fall. Non-sub Association Districts must have 25% of the voting power of the district to conduct business and elect a delegate. Sub Associations elect their own delegates at their individual annual meetings.

These districts are unrepresented at this time. It is important to maintain good delegate representation throughout the LMVA community in order to conduct association business in a fair and equitable manner. Volunteering as an LMVA Delegate allows members to participate in the Board of Director annual elections along with providing feedback to the members in their respective districts by attending monthly Board meetings.

Members who own property in the districts listed above and are interested in becoming a delegate can call Administrative Manager Dave Kerr at (949) 770-1313 ext. 213 for more information about how to become an LMVA District Delegate. Delegate District maps are available on line at www.lakemissionviejo.org, home owner’s association tab; search by district number or name.
