    Spring Awakening - Activity #2 - FOR KIDS

    F E E L Take a comfortable position and close your eyesWhat is the f irst colour that comes to your mind today?

    What colour represents how you feel today?

    Take a few breaths

    Focus on the colour. How does i t feel?

    1Take some t ime to notice what's around you and really be in the moment.

    Find a place in your home.It could be beside the window in the l iving room, your bedroom, your favourite spot in

    the kitchen, anywhere you ’d l ike.

    Add to your journey map from last t ime or start a new one on any drawing surface.

    A journey map is a place for you to reflect .Document you and your l i fe r ight now.

    Come back to i t anytime.

    Write, draw, colour anything you want

    Share your new creation, your discoveries from your walk, or send us a picture of yourjourney map!

    Ask your parent/guardian to share with our Swallowing Clouds community!

    You can choose to do the Discovery Walk  activity from last week again or skip ahead to:

    RECREATE!Use clothes and blankets (or anything you f ind in your home) and a clear space on a table

    or f loor to temporari ly recreate some of the images you saw on your discovery walk.Ask your parents/guardians for permission to use the materials before you start and

    remember to clean up when you ’re done!

    Take a photo or shoot a video of you creating and share i t with us!(You can try to use slow/stop motion video or a t ime lapse, i f you'd l ike)

    Take a deep breathand look around

    Shapes?

    Colours?

    Anything that matches yourcheck- in colour?

    Step 3:

    Take the object thatmatches your check- incolour (or any object) :

    Look at i t closely

    Look at i t f rom far away

    How is i t dif ferent f rombefore?

    Step 4:

    Once you feel ready, youcan begin the next act iv i ty!

    *Optional: Share the colour you were thinking of with each other.

    Try to be precise on the tone of the colour by using an adjective to describe i t .

    (example: bright green, baby blue, shiny pink.. . )
