CONFERENCE IN A BRIEF

The 1st International Seminar on Smart Molecule of Natural Resources (ISSMART) is

first annual scientific meeting organized by Research Center for Smart Molecule of

Natural Genetic Resources (SMONAGENES), Universitas Brawijaya and supported by The

Institute of Research and Community Services (LPPM) Universitas Brawijaya. This meeting

aimed to promote mutual exchange between scientists and experts, to discuss of new

research results in the fields of theoretical and experimental of smart molecule. The

seminar facilitates of researchers and academic members or experts from universities,

government research institutions, private sectors, and non-government organization to

share their knowledge and experience through the discussion on plenary session, inviting

speaker and parallel session of oral and poster presentation.

PARTICIPANTS

The conference will be attended by both international and national researchers,

lecturer, industrial experts, and college students in basic sciences field. The conference

invites internationally acclaimed researchers as its plenary speakers. Since this conference

covers a broad and up to dated theme, the upcoming conference attendance is estimated to

be 50-100 participants.

The conference consists of three main activities: 1) plenary lecture, 2) parallel

lecture, and 3) oral and poster presentation.

GENERAL

Committee provides an opportunity for sponsors to advertise through our promotion

media during the conference. Two types of sponsorship are available: package and custom

promotion media. The sponsorship package, in principle, is flexible and based on mutual

agreement.

PAYMENT

1. A down payment of 25% of total cost is required upon the contract agreement. The

rest of payment must be settled at least two weeks before the first day of conference.

2. If the rest of payment can not be settled before the time limit as stated above, the

committee has full right to re-adjust the promotion media / advertisement down to fit

the amount that has been paid.
