The Green Sports Alliance leverages the

cultural and market influence of sports to

promote healthy, sustainable communities

where we live and play.

The Alliance was conceived and founded by the

Seattle Seahawks, Portland Trail Blazers,

Seattle Sounders FC, Seattle Mariners, Seattle

Storm, Key Arena, Vancouver Canucks and the

Natural Resources Defense Council with

support from Bonneville Environmental

Foundation, Green Building Services, and

Milepost Consulting.

The Alliance’s primary goal is to educate,

encourage and inspire action across the broad

sports industry, through seven key programs.
