When a sign enters your life, you can ask yourself a very simple question that will help you tune in to your in- ner intuition. Ask yourself, “If I knew, what would this sign mean?” If your conscious mind asserts that it does not have a clue what the sign means, this very simple question will allow you to travel to the deeper subconscious mind. Symbols are different things to different people, so when working with your intuition it is important to TRUST WHAT- EVER FIRST COMES into your mind. Method 2: Watch the Feeling Finding a feeling or emotion that you associate with a sign can often offer a valuable clue to its meaning. To locate the emo- tion, think of the sign, close your eyes, still your mind, and notice what emotion you would most likely link with the sign. Once you have located this emotion, look back over your life and remember the last time you had that exact feeling. Recall a situation that evoked the same emotion. Notice any memories associated with these feelings. What message do you receive from these feelings Most often your sign is associ- ated with that particular situation or with the issues underlying it. Observing the emotions connected to a sign can be a real clue to assist you to find the significance of your sign. Method 3: Become the Sign This method entails imagining that YOU are the sign. To use this method you should say, “I am the _____________sign and I represent ______________.” (Here you would say whatever first comes into your mind.) If there is more than one sign oc- curring at the same time, imagine that one by one you become each sign. Continue to do this for each of the different signs until each is clearly defined. After you have done this, imagine the signs talking to each other. (You see a dog chasing a cat. Become the cat and the dog. How do they feel, what are they trying to tell you about your life right now)? Don’t like to fight… Stand up for yourself... she is stronger than she feels... she has strength and courage… stick up for yourself……

Spring is right around the corner and I’m sure I’m not the only one who is thrilled. We were very lucky to have a mild win-ter and now the colors and fragrances of spring are upon us. Which can only mean… it’s time for Spirit Day in May once again! This year the event will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM. All are welcome. We have some great speakers lined up with new subjects and interests this year. I will have the sign up sheet on the table tonight. I have a FOOD sign up sheet so we do not have 4 BBQ’s, 15 desserts and no main courses. We have use of the full kitchen, but in the past crock pots seem to be the best way to keep the food warm and ready to eat.

Tea with a Psychic at the MuseumOn February 25th I was honored to speak at the Museum of Mysteries and Research Center in Columbia. It was a well at-tended event and Rick & Marylin had a beautiful presentation of fresh flowers, fruit, veggies, beverages and baked goods. SIGN INTERPRETATION Method 1: IntuitionPerhaps the most powerful tool for sign interpretation is your intuition. When a sign enters your life, you can ask yourself a very simple question that will help you tune in to your in-ner intuition. Ask yourself, “If I knew, what would this sign mean?” If your conscious mind asserts that it does not have a clue what the sign means, this very simple question will allow you to travel to the deeper subconscious mind. Symbols are different things to different people, so when working with your intuition it is important to TRUST WHAT-EVER FIRST COMES into your mind.Method 2: Watch the FeelingFinding a feeling or emotion that you associate with a sign can often offer a valuable clue to its meaning. Method 4: Make a Sign JournalRecord your personal signs. Watch for recurring themes, feel-ings, or symbols. Important messages from the subconscious can be uncovered through this method. Whenever a sign ap-pears in your life, write it down and then list the meanings that you associate with that sign. Include signs that have come from your heritage, your family, your culture, and your past lives. As you collect these personal signs, put them in dictionary form. Refer to this dictionary each time a sign appears in your life. You will find that the more you use your personal sign dic-tionary, the more insight you gain into symbols that you have listed. This is a powerful way to gain self-awareness. (Dream work is important as well).Method 5: Ask Your GuideEveryone has guides, whether you know it or not and those who consciously communicate with their guides have an enor-mous wealth of resources to tap into. Guides come to us from the world of spirit. They give us guidance, assistance and love. They are teachers and protectors and can assist in directing our path as well as helping us gain access to our inner lives.Sometimes your guide while under meditation will show up in human form dressed in a historical outfit, they may appear as lights, sounds, or simply feelings. There will always be a lov-ing feeling attached with your guides. To access your guide, spend a few minutes relaxing, then vi-sualize or imagine your guide. If you do not have a visual image for your guide, say to yourself, “If I had a guide, what might that guide look like?” and imagine a visual image for your guide. Another method is to imagine or sense a large, glowing sphere of golden, white, or silvery light. Feel yourself surrounded in a bubble of light and love and protection. After you have done this, you might say to yourself, either aloud or silently,“Dear Guardian, I ask for your assistance and understanding regarding this sign. Help me understand the meaning of the sign in my life. I send peace and give thanks for your loving blessings.”After you have done this, imagine your guide telling you what your sign means. AS simple as this exercise sounds, it can of-ten bring fantastic results!Method 6: Free AssociationThis method of writing associations (first ideas that come to mind) for each sign. This may give you a clue to the mean-ing of the sign. For example, imagine that the sign you see is a tulip. A free association might be tulips-two lips- too much lip…… Hey, my kids are giving me too much lip! I am feeling taken advantage of in my life. Another example might be that you see a sign of a bell…..An association might be…bell…ring..Wedding ring..”Oh my gosh, I left my wedding ring in the restaurant ladies room.”Method 7: Pretend you Meet a Martian!Pretend you are telling your sign to an alien from another

planet. Imagine that the alien does not know anything about the earth. For example, your sign is a ram, how would you describe a ram to your friend from Mars? You might say, “A ram is an animal with masculine, thrusting strength. It charges forward with power and certainty no matter what is in its way.” After you describe your ram to your alien friend, you might examine your life to see if there is anything that equates with the qualities of a ram. AS you begin to describe the ram in the most basic of lan-guages, the sign often will become clear.Method 8: Research Your HeritageWithin each person’s heritage are signs that were used by their ancestors or their culture. Even if you are not conscious of what these signs are for you, they still are genetically encoded in the cells of your memory. (Me, bagpipes, drums) Method 9: Use a DictionaryA very simple method to decipher your sign is to look it up in a standard dictionary. Very often, just reading the exact meaning of a sign can be of assistance in your interpretation.Method 10: Use A Basic Sign/Dream DictionaryThis method is to get you started. The definitions might not e exactly accurate for you personally; this method can get you off to a good start. When interpreting your signs, find the meaning that is the kind-est to you. For example, if you have a heart attack, you could think, “this is a sign I’m not giving enough love”, or you can see it this way, “This is time to rest and spend more time pur-suing joy. If you experience a horrible disaster, this does not mean that you are a disaster. Perhaps you were meant to be a compassionate light among the darkness. If you have poor self-esteem, do not use as yet another way to condemn yourself. Always look for the kindest interpretation for your signs.

MUSINGS WITH MATT - By Matt James In looking for ghosts in Gettysburg it might be said that they seem to be everywhere. As a ghost hunter, one tends to deal with spirits on a one to one base. So, when you have deaths in the thousands it is easy to see why they seem to be every-where. Each spirit has it’s own story to be told. But, the spirits that haunt Gettysburg are not only the dead. There is also ones who left their homes for a bright future, from the north and south only to see their dreams and total lives crushed on the field. Yes, you had Vicksburg a couple days before that for all purposes split the country and made it a war east of the Missis-sippi - that played a very important role in the war. But, when the world thinks of the American Civil War “Gettysburg” most often comes to mind. I always remember when I was over in England. The people asking where are you from? Harrisburg? Gettysburg!! Bang Bang!! It is where dreams fell. Many of the spirits of the soldiers go back looking for a way to put back what they lost. Remember many of them were just boys, 16-20. They were boys looking to make a difference in this great big world that just does not make sense. I think though this might be the same thing with every war though. In ways the lucky soldiers of a war might be the ones who do not come back. Yes, it sucks for them. But, it ends. The harder thing though might be the matter of liv-ing through the battle. Seeing what you held important change forever. Seeing your brothers lost to the veil of death not to return. And then being told hey you are lucky you get to be a old man perhaps without a limb at the age of 21, you survived the war. Really, you survived? You lived through the war is more like it. I think this is one of the most important things a ghost hunter could have as a tool. Not the thousand dollar tools, not the gifts of the sixth sense, but the ability to remember when you are dealing with a spirit most likely they were human at one point in time. They were the same as you at one point in time what makes you tick, made them tick. What you stress over they stressed over. This past New Years eve, I found myself once again down at the Eisenhower Farm House in Gettysburg (Note: Matt refers to the residence near the Eisenhower Conference Center, NOT the home of President Eisenhower and while known to have acivity, is not accessible for investigations as it is maintained by the NPS- JDW). A couple of things happened. A attic door being opened that five people all heard that was impossible to be opened. That myself and another responded to thirty seconds later only to find no one. To be told when going downstairs that a conversation with a spirit that hung herself in the attic was ended very quickly moments before the attic door opened. The thing though that might have been the most touching to me though was something that occurred when working by myself. I am on the second floor doing scans with a ELF meter when all of sudden I start getting hits - not strong steady readings but slow quick and strong shots. Now, I am going very slow in the scanning when it occurs. So I feel you can rule out myself

causing it especially since it is moving around the room I am in. Also up to now I have not been getting surges. I start to get the feeling coming over me of something hiding. Something checking me out but hiding. So I sit down on the floor pull out two belt buckles I have. One from north and one from south. Get out the dowsing rods ask anything present. Yes comes very slow. Next find out it’s a soldier. Ask which belt buckle? South-ern. Find out a private from Tennessee. Get the age of 17. At this point start to feel great sadness and concern come over me. You want to go home? Rods stop and very slowly, yes. Tell the boy it is ok. You can be honest. The year I find out is 1863, July 4. Just a day after the famous charge. This is a boy out of time and place. He came to do something good for something he believed in. But did not real-ize what he was getting into. He misses his home, he misses his mother. He wishes the war was over, he wants the south to stand tall. But, what he really wants is to return to what was. This is just a scared boy. I ask him if Lee was his hero. Yes, now normally I work with Fitz Lee but can call on Robert too. This boy needs to cross to be free to go home. So I call on Robert this night. I ask does he see Robert E Lee, answer comes back yes. Ask for the light pathway. Get the location. Allow myself to channel Robert and gives the boy his discharge orders. See the rods go and pass to the light. Come back in go calm. I helped one lot more to help out there to be set free. All with their own stories, their own lives, their own passions, their own fears. Just listen to them leave them bend your ear and maybe you can help them.

ROSWELL MINI-COOKIES To me, one of the coolest new ac-quisitions at the NMMRC is this cookie carton Rick found. Pro-duced in 1997 for the 50th anniversary of the Roswell Crash, the clever packaging even includes replication of the symbols (Rt photo) Jesse Marcel observed on a piece of the wreckage. Would love to see more mysterious event-themed foods: ‘Moth-man Muffins’, ‘Bentwaters Biscuits’, ‘Kecksburg Crackers’ or ‘Flatwoods Flatbread’! - JDW

TMI Foretold... by the world’s leading expert on SHC.

As we approach the 33rd Anni-versary of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Accident on March 28 (something Kelly, myself and many readers will never forget) its interesting to note the involve-ment of one of our long time col-leagues, Larry Arnold. Although the photo of Larry was taken after the event (when he was continu-ing his protest of the facility) few know that Larry in the year before had penned a disturbing account of what was to come! Larry was one of the founders of TMI Alert and like many locals, had long questioned a nuclear fa-cility being built in such a heavily populated area. Larry’s fictional

account of an accident at TMI was published in the Aug. 1978 issue of Harrisburg Magazine and titled MELTDOWN: Tomor-row’s Disaster at TMI. Hardly a ‘premonition’, the article used Larry’s extensive knowledge of nuclear power and its poten-tial hazards to quite accurately describe the frightening events that would manifest 8 months later. (After the article was pub-lished, TMI owner Met-Ed actually sought a congressional investigation of the magazine, almost succeeding in running them out of business). This story sheds a different light on someone we associate with SHC and fortean topics; I will be reading it at tonight’s meet-ing, and have some extra copies available. It is truly disturb-ing, especially for one who lived through those days, suitcase packed and ready to head to a friend’s house in VT. - JDW
