1.9 ENDORSES the refund of all cancelled bookings at Town-owned properties and facilities.

2.5 Pursuant to Clauses 61(2)(d) of Schedule 2 ‘Deemed Provisions’, Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) 2015 DETERMINES that development approval is not required for an existing Restaurant, Shop, Local Shop or Market to be used for a Take Away Food Outlet or Take Away Food Outlet (drive through) for a period of 6 months from the date of this resolution.

2.6 AUTHORISES the Chief Executive Officer to determine that other land uses can operate temporarily for a period of 6 months where deemed necessary to provide a public or community service, or to enable the continuation or adaption of an existing local business in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

4.1 APPROVES of changes to car parking requirements, as approved by the Chief Executive Officer to minimise restrictions to support take away and home delivery services.

4.2 APPROVES to amend the 2019/2020 fees and charges by providing free parking for a period of 3 months commencing on 1 April 2020 and expiring on 30 June 2020.

4.3 APPROVES of the Matthews Netball Centre car park to be used, free of cost, for the hospital and medical staff of King Edward Memorial Hospital, St John of God and QEII whilst Emergency Directions are in place (and other hospitals -if required).

4.4 Will CONSIDER any Application by State Government Emergency Agencies to use the Town’s buildings under the State of Emergency free of charge, as a temporary alternative place of work for those services, should they be impacted by COVID-19.
