INSTRUCTIONS

Paper Windmill You will need: paper, template, scissors, blue tack, cotton

thread, straws, pens/pencils, paperclip.

Cut out the square template.

Decorate both sides with pens/pencils.

Cut along the solid lines. Fold from the cut corner to line up with the dotted lines, but do not squash flat, let it curve and glue the corner down.

Make a hole in the middle and insert the straw. Secure it in position with blue tack.

INSTRUCTIONS

Paper Windmill

Tape a paperclip to the second straw. Then push the windmill straw through the paperclip.

Cut a piece of cotton thread about the length of 2 straws. Stick a small bit of blue tack to one end.

Tape the thread to the windmill straw. Wind the thread around it, leaving some hanging down.

Hold the other straw and blow to the side of the windmill. It will spin around making the thread roll up.
