Embedding the language

Use the Spanish day of the week classroom signs (on the website) and ask pupils to pick the correct one each day.

• Pupils should look at the slides, listen to the day of the week in Spanish and try and match the day of the week to the correct word in English.

• You could support this further by using day of the week fans so that pupils could do their own individual version.
