The car's interior is pictured.</p> <p> A 1933 Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow (pictured) is also among the 30 classic cars due to go on sale at an auction hosted by Sotheby's.</p> <p> The distinctive "Archer" hood ornament on this Pierce-Arrow.</p> <p> This 1969 De Tomaso Mangusta is being offered for between 200,000 and 230,000 at the auction lot being hosted by Sotheby's.</p> <p> This specially-designed and restored 1964 Porsche 356 C 1600 SC Cabriolet belonged to American singer-songwriter Janis Joplin, who first rose to fame in the late 1960s.</p> <p> Janis Joplin's 1964 Porsche 356 C 1600 SC Cabriolet is part of the 'Driven by Disruption' auction, featuring 30 classic cars.</p> <p> Joplin's 'History of the Universe' Porsche Cabriolet has spent the last 20 years on display at the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame and Museum.</p> <p>Another classic car up for sale is the 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring, which is expected to fetch more than half a million pounds.</p> <p> The 1973 Carrera RS has become one of the most sought-after sports cars to emerge from the German motoring giant.</p> <p>The 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL 'Sportabteilung' Gullwing, with its distinctive gull-wing doors, was the fastest production car of its day.</p> <p> The interior of theMercedes-Benz 300 SL 'Sportabteilung' Gullwing is pictured.
