MISSION: To build families for children in need, help them shape their futures, and share in the development of their communities.

SOS Mothers are professionally trained local women who form family ties with every child, always respecting each child’s cultural and religious roots.

SOS Siblings of different ages live together, biological brothers and sisters stay within the same SOS family, and families build lifelong emotional bonds.

SOS Homes, managed by each SOS mother with oversight and support of the village, provide children with a sense of security and belonging.

SOS Villages form a supportive environment where children enjoy happy childhoods, help each other, and contribute to the larger local community. Family strengthening programs further assist communities by preventing child abandonment.
