Installation of a synthetic turf system and related elements has already been contracted by the District as part of Phase 1 of the project. The Phase 1 scope consists of drainage and field preparation of the sub-grade for a new artificial turf system, and installation of the turf system. This phase is in process at this time. The Phase 2 scope of work includes a new field house, ticket booths, concessions and restroom buildings, new press box, fencing and site development. This phase also includes new owner provided bleachers, scoreboard and sports lighting upgrades.

The Owner has retained the services of a Construction Manager to represent the Owner's interest during the construction of the work. Project will be bid as a Competitive Sealed Bid. Bid Documents Bidding Documents are available electronically and for inspection at the following locations:

ARC Document Solutions Architect Office, Construction Manager Office.

Electronic Bidding Documents may be obtained from ARC Document Solutions, 819 State Street, Cayce, SC. Telephone 803-254-2561. Hard copies of plans may be obtained directly from ARC at their cost. Costs associated with hard copy plans are non-refundable. Bids will be binding for a period of 60 (sixty) calendar days from the date bids are opened. Bonds and Insurance All bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bid securities of the three lowest bidders will be retained until Contract award and execution. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond, Labor and Materials Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. Bids are to be submitted on the forms that the proposal provided, enclosed in a sealed opaque envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, contractor's license number and bidder's license number (if applicable), the name of project and the solicitation number. All bids must comply with the laws of the State of South Carolina. THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, WAIVE INFORMALITIES AND AWARD THE CONTRACT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE OWNER.
