As already discussed, today mobile devices account for around 72% website traffic (all website). about 1.65 billion mobile social accounts exists globally of which 561 million users are from East Asia.

Facebook

No prizes for guessing, Facebook is the king of all social media platforms. Many of you might not be surprised if we say that 71% of the users who access internet use Facebook. What do you think how many daily likes would be generated? It is a whooping 4.5 billion. Another astonishing fact is that now facebook leads the video upload ahead of You Tube.

Instagram

Owned by facebook, Instagram today has around 300 million users. On a daily basis, about 70 millions phots and videos are sent.

Pinterest

A female centric pinboard, Pinterest has caught every woman’s imagination. Around 80% users are female. The best thing about these females is that they havemostly bought the product they have pinned.

LinkedIn

Having started in 2002, LinkedIn today has around 347 million registered users of which there are around 30 million students who are still undergraduates and those who have recently graduated.

Apart from these, there are many small but very significant platforms like Viber thathas over 200 million users, 600 millions use Whatsapp, China’s Qzone has around 640 million users, Russia’s “VKontake” is used by around 100 million users.
