Ideology: beliefs and ideas that directs someone’s goals

Joseph Stalin’s ideology was to turn Russia into a completely communist nation.

Individualism: Ideology that focuses on an individual person.

Snowboarding is an individual sport that mainly benefits the only person participating with self satisfaction.

Collectivism: ideology of collecting and distributing.

Guns stores are collective businesses that buy and sell guns and ammunition =)

Liberalism: political orientation that favors social progress

Liberalism is a persons choice to support type of government that focuses on the people.

Self interest: taking advantage of opportunities without regard for the consequences of others

Video games are a self interest that I commence in myself.

Competition: two or more teams, companies ect. competing against others to achieve something before the others

Football is a very entertaining and extremely competitive sport.

Freedom: the condition of being free; the power to act or speak or think without externally imposed restraints

Wars have been fought to secure a country and give the people their freedom

Law is an all-powerful system, no one is above the law no matter who the person is.

Private property is owned by either a single person or multiple people, only permitted persons are allowed to continue on the land.

Collective responsibility: is a concept or doctrine, according to which individuals are to be held responsible for other people's actions

For actions carried out even In other countries, such as killing an innocent person in Iraq, people in Canada and America feel responsibility for their death because those troops are from out country.

Collective interest: set of interests that members of a group have in common

The Nazi party was a very powerful and very organized organization. They all shared the same interest in this case it was an extermination of the Jewish people, and making Germany a completely pure German(Aryan) country.

Cooperation: process of working or acting together

Football is by far the sport that requires the most cooperation. You can not have a good football team without cooperation

Economic equality: Economic egalitarianism is a state of economic affairs in which the participants of a society are of equal standing and equal access to all the economic resources in terms of economic power

Homeless people are not at economically equal to others for they are poor and live on the street.

Collective norms: process of establishing common social and moral norms

For example people agreeing on a certain moral or idea.

Public property: Public property is property which is jointly owned by a whole community of individuals

Public basketball courts are owned by a government or town/city and are available to anyone

Belief: Belief is the psychological state in which an individual holds a proposition or premise to be true

Satan is a being that many people choose to believe in, even if people thinks he is real or not.

Value: a moral or object that someone holds true to

Heavy metal music is something I value because it means a lot to me and it shapes my personality

Individual identity: a sense of what a person believes in and what a person thinks makes them who they are

Individual identity is something that makes people who they are, what people do and believe in and how they act is what makes a human being a somebody and not just an object

Collective identity: where 2 or more people believe in a similar idea, this can form a nation where people all have a sense of belonging in a certain place
