lawyer in his day. He represented
his clients based on his deep

themselves, to establish a belief
in themselves and to go beyond
themselves to bring good to
others”
To instill Social Emotional Learning competencies like self-awareness and self-confidence in our boys (Character Development)
To instill in our Marshall Plan boys the Sense of Self-actualization and National Pride
(Character Development)
To provide avenues for our Marshall Plan boys to develop study skills so as to allow them to do their Level Best (Academic)
To introduce possible Career Choices to pupils which are more practical and hands on in nature (Vocational Preparation)

How Can I Help my Son?
Monitor his
results
Ask your son what
he wants to achieve“Son, what is your next
goal? How about 60%?
Encourage your son “You got 45% for maths!
You improved by 15%.
Well done!”
Help him to work
first and play later“Son, finish writing your
Science notebook. After
5 pages, you can play a
game on your phone.”
How Can I Help my Son?
Spend time with your son – especially Fathers.
- Go out together for a meal when you’re free
- Play games with him
Listen to your son.
- Full attention
- Paraphrase
- Body Language
Please do join us for the Parenting Workshops
that we will be organising throughout the year.
When asked about their concerns, a group of kids
ages 13 through 17, said they wanted to be able to
communicate with their parents in healthy, positive
ways.
How Can I Help my Son?
You can:
Monitor his CCA attendance.
Reward your son for achieving CCA goals – e.g. if he
has perfect CCA attendance, you can bring him out for a meal.
Attend your son’s games or performances.
Students who regularly attend CCA
do much better than students with no CCA.
How Can I Help my Son?
Together, we can make
your son SHINE
