Key differences ZTrade Vs Acturis

• Value added services – not all available on Acturis (refer to table)

• Zurich instalment arrangements – not available on Acturis

• Question set – a longer industry standard question set is used on Acturis

• Cover – minor variations in cover between ZTrade and Acturis (as outlined later on in this guide)

• Pricing – comparable pricing between ZTrade and Acturis, but will differ due to the different question set

• Commission – flexibility is provided on both platforms

Our products and appetite Residential and commercial property owners | Available on Acturis from August 2017

We’ve got all the standard covers you’d expect but here’s where our residential and commercial property owners cover really excels:

• We can provide cover for the landlords contents up to £50,000 if required

• We offer a standard property owners, products and public liability of £5million

• We can include cover for employers’ liability for maintenance staff and caretakers

• We can provide cover for legal expenses if required where we will negotiate legal rights in a dispute with a tenant arising from a breach of the tenancy agreement, to repossess the premises or to recover any money due

Appetite – residential property owners

Bungalows and houses, blocks of flats, purpose built flats, converted flats, maisonettes, tenant types (professional or retired tenants, minimum six month tenancy agreement), property risk features (fully occupied, no history of flood or subsidence, standard construction)

Appetite – commercial property owners

A mix of commercial and residential properties in property portfolios, target commercial, manufacturing trades, office and retail trades, warehousing and stores

Key differences ZTrade Vs Acturis

• Acturis combines the ZTrade residential property owners product with the commercial property owners product under one policy

• There is no equipment breakdown cover available on Acturis

• Book debts and money cover are optional covers on Acturis

• Day one cover on contents is not available on Acturis

Our products and appetite Shop and salon | Available on Acturis from September 2017

We’ve got all the covers you’d expect but here’s where our shop and salon cover really excels:

• Essential personnel cover – if, during the course of business, a director, business partner or essential employee dies or sustains an injury which means they can’t perform their usual duties we will pay reasonable expenses incurred up to £10,000

• Deterioration of stock – £10,000 limit if there is a change in temperature or failure of electric supply to freezer, we will pay for the costs of replacing and repackaging up to £10,000

• High money limits – for money kept at home, in transit, on the premises or in an unspecified safe

• Goods in transit with flexible limits up to £15,000 covering property or goods from one location to another by road

• We will increase stock cover automatically for three months during peak seasons

• If an SME acquires a new premises, we will cover the buildings and contents at this location up to a maximum of £500,000 or 10% of the sum insured, as long as we are informed as soon as reasonably possible and the business is similar to that which we have already insured

• Cover available for a wide range of hair and beauty treatments for selected trades

• Automatic equipment breakdown cover

Appetite – shop and salon

Grocer, Bakery, Gift Shop, Wine Retailer, Menswear Retailing, Shoe Retailing, Hardware Retailing, Florists, Post Office, Supermarkets, Sports Goods Retailing, Newsagents, Hairdressers, Barbers

Key differences ZTrade VsActuris

• Acturis combines the ZTrade shop product with the hair and beauty product under one policy

• Acturis includes full treatment cover under the Personal Liability section of the policy

• There is no business travel cover available on Acturis

• Frozen food has been renamed deterioration of stock on Acturis

• Acturis includes an optional loss of license section

• Day one cover on contents in not available on Acturis

• The structure of our policy wording and schedule has been improved on Acturis reflecting feedback from our ZTrade products

Our products and appetite Trades and professions | Available on Acturis from August 2017

We’ve got all the covers you’d expect but here’s where our trades and professions cover really excels:

• We provide legal liability for personal injury to a third party or damage to a third party property, as a result of an SME’s business activity or a product they have supplied, up to £2million as standard with the flexibility to increase up to £10million if required

• We provide environmental clean-up costs up to £1million as standard should an SME cause any accidental pollution or contamination

• If an SME becomes liable to pay compensation due to any act of Libel or Slander, we will pay the costs up to a maximum of £250,000

• Our optional Personal Accident cover will provide financial help up to a maximum of £120,000 for any one insured person if they were to suffer a serious accident or injury at work

• Contractors All Risks cover is available with optional covers including contract works, owned plant, hired in plant and tools cover

Appetite: trades and professions

Office, Professional Trades, Landscape gardener, Electrical contractor, Carpenter & joiner, Carpet/flooring contractor

Key differences ZTrade Vs Acturis

• Professional indemnity, legal expenses and terrorism are not available on Acturis

• Specified items ‘all risks’ section removed and picked up by Tools under the Contractor ‘all risks’ section on Acturis

• Business contents – additional section to cover low values of stock and contents on Acturis
