Seth Rasmussen - Co-Owner / “Good Cop” Long Bio: Born in Texas, raised in the Northwest, and hecho en Mexico, Seth Rasmussen claims Seattle as home, though he is still asked with alarming frequency: "what accent is that?" In truth, he doesn't know. Seth is an unabashed fan of Doctor Who, shredding the ukulele, karaoke, and awful jokes. He has written, produced, acted in, and composed music for a handful of oddball films. He loves to read, and considers Kurt Vonnegut an excellent palate cleanser between binge reading David Foster Wallace and Thomas Pynchon. Obsessed with the written word, Seth will write in just about any genre if asked, which is probably how he came to find himself in the field of marketing. Seth is the co-owner of Small Biz Triage, a company dedicated to unapologetically human training and support for fellow small business owners, whose client list includes the current Chair of the National Women’s Business Council, a mobile-app developer with over 3.5 million downloads, and an Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker. Short Bio: Seth Rasmussen is a bootstrappin’, face slapping, make-it-happen marketing nerd. As co-owner of Small Biz Triage he hooks up small business owners and entrepreneurs with training and direct marketing support. His list of clients ranges from the Obama-appointed chair of the National Women’s Business Council to a gang of local small business superheroes and everything in between.

Billy Gold - Media Demon / “The Other Guy” Short Bio: Master of all things unclassifiable. On any given day may be found retrofitting appliances to diabolical purposes or deconstructing the rhetoric of nutrition panels. Rollerblader, air-guitarist and amateur lion tamer. He’s convinced this internet thing is a fad. Verbal Intro: Billy manages a community of consumers for a boutique eastside consumer insights organization. He’s spent the better part of the last 5 years learning to leverage social media for research and marketing. A classically trained designer, Billy has a love hate relationship with technology, preferring to spend his time up to his elbows in something far less predictable. On any given day he may be found retrofitting appliances to diabolical purposes or deconstructing the rhetoric of nutrition panels. Rollerblader, air-guitarist and amateur lion tamer. He’s convinced this internet thing is a fad. Uncensored Verbal Intro: A master of cognitive dissonance, able to smell insincerity at twenty paces. He’s got a mortgage, a mission, and a map of every coffee shop in Seattle committed to memory. Passionate (and perhaps a bit cynical) about technology, he got’s that east coast rhythm and that west coast style. Give it up for the Maestro of Mayhem, the funky instigator, the leader of the Laicos revolution Billy “Media Demon” Gold.

Testimonials

“The ability of Seth and Nate to bring us together, people from all different walks of life with the same goals, in this setting that both physically and mentally challenges us, and lets us work on our ideas in a

very direct manner, has been absolutely incredible. In two days I've done more than I have in sessions that were weeks long. So, their ability to coalesce this into a very finite amount of time is better than anything

I've ever seen or been a part of.” - Dan Kenney, Engineer

“For the first time in a long time, I’m not experiencing anxiety when researching/understanding marketing. Small Biz Triage is better than aspirin!” - Leanne Lauder, CEO of YummyShapes

"If you want to get your business off the ground, Nate is your man. When my company debuted at the NW Tea Festival, we had 3 weeks to do everything. Packaging, networking, building the booth, business cards. With Nate’s help, we got it all done and had a great debut with a lasting impression on the customers in

the area." -Tamara Mays, Owner, Otaku Tea

"Seth is an incredibly responsive marketing expert, whose replies to my questions, worries, and concerns are unfailingly clear, helpful, thorough, and patient." - Bill Abelson, Writer, Dr. Canard

“Dear Seth & Nate, My recent experience with your team over the past few months have been an incredible one. Our progressive rebuilding of confidence- while being taught to understand the value of the multifaceted social media network- insures our place in part of industry we have chosen. Sometimes technology has driven the way so quickly, I had a difficult time understanding the process. I treated it as though it was a conspiracy rather than a helpful tool as Small Biz Triage has shown. Once the homework was issued and completed, a discovery was made. I now understand that these tools are ever evolving and that the mentorship is there for the businesses that have fallen to hard times. The reinvention and the worthiness of what one does is constantly an uplifting tool the guys at Small Biz Triage use and never makes one feel that the decisions of the past have to keep you business from moving forward. I can not believe where my resources are taking me! It is up to me to translate these ideas into revenues, but I do see the work was already done, I just simply needed a tune up! Forever grateful and truly at your service, Chuck Hernandez. Owner, Arugula Catering Co. Author of Pesto Power
