Begin by adding the lentils. It is important to sort these beforehand as there can occasionally be small rocks in the bag. 2. Next, chop and add the vegetables. Take care to add them in the order listed above starting with the potatoes and ending with the spinach. 3. Add in the spices, vegetable stock, and water. There is no need to stir the ingredients, they will combine during cooking. 4. Place the lid on the slow cooker and set it to low. Allow it to cook for the next 8 hours.
