Drilling Control Console The Drilling Control Console is designed from the prototype of 70D rig. It provides supervisions on drawwork up and down, rotary speed, mud pump speed regulation, diesel power, and pump power. It also displays data like weight on bit, rotary speed, standpipe pressure, rotary torque, drilling fluid density in, drilling fluid density out, volume in, volume out, rig air supply pressure, accumulator pressure, well depth, bit position, hook height, kelly down depth, footage, drilling time, drilling speed, drill pipe speed, well bottom pressure, formation pressure

BOP Control Console
The Blowout Preventer (BOP) is designed from
prototype of all-purpose triple ram BOP. It
controls the switch on and switch off of all
components in BOP. It also supervises
standpipe pressure, casing pressure, rig air
supply pressure etc.

Choke Control Console
The Choke Control Console is designed from
prototype of choke control console of standard
domestic double hydraulic choke valve. It
supervises standpipe pressure and casing
pressure in shut-in and kill operation. It controls
standpipe pressure and casing pressure in kill

Standpipe Manifold The Standpipe Manifold is made of plastic valves and pipes under typical structure of standpipe manifold in drilling field. It controls the path of drilling fluid flow.

Remote Control Console
It complies with domestic all-purpose remote
control console and can be designed to
customer requirement. It controls remote BOP,
like switch on and off, for all components. It
also supervises standpipe pressure, casing

Instructor Console and Graphics Processing
Unit
The Instructor Console is made up of a high
performance computer. Its main functions
includes running main program, storing and
setting simulation parameters, graphics control,
computing and plotting parameter curves, and
recording and summarizing scores. The
Graphics Processing Unit consists of a high
performance computer and a special graphics
accelerator and is connected to main computer
by Ethernet. It displays static background
graphics, controlled dynamic graphics, auto
animation and recording curves.

Graphics Projecting Unit Graphics are projected onto wall in displaying field scenery. Two kinds of Graphics Projecting Unit are available. One is ordinary projecting unit. It features low price but less attractive environment. The other applies virtual reality technology in Drilling Simulator.
Sound & Light Alarm Unit It alerts overload of overflow in, overload of leak, overload of drilling parameters and indicates operation error by sound.
Sound Synthesis Unit
It mimics and synthesizes kinds of filed sound, including sound of diesel, rotary, pump stroke, pneumatic valve,
auto air compressor, accelerator, blowout and drawwork brake. SYSTEM SOFTWARE
The system software is Windows style which is convenient for user and system administrator. The instructor is able to
supervise the operations of trainees through supervision interface, which consists of 5 parts, including detailed
parameters interface, record curve interface, environmental parameters interface, control parameters interface and
switch status interface. Instructor can supervise and check trainee’s operation in instantaneous parameters control,
smooth operation, environmental parameters setting, parameter range control, operation sequences and action
sequences.

It is a portable system with advanced technology and full function that simulates real drilling and satisfies oil field training requirements.
The portable drilling system simulator is made by the
combination of petroleum engineering, computer technology,
virtual reality and computer simulation. It provides training
projects such as drilling, tripping, and well controlling. It is
mainly used for training of driller, drilling supervisor, and other
technical personnel. Training and testing provided in the system
helps personnel to learn basic operations, process, and well
shutting-in and killing technology. The system uses mathematical models to simulate the
conditions and parameters in oil engineering operation, such as pressure, torque, drilling rate, and emission. It reflects these physical parameters accurately, making the system a simulation of real effects. Also, with synchronous 3D animation, the system shows operating scene in single-channel projection. Together with high simulation of live sounds, the system makes users feel immersive.
The system is made up by two portable consoles, laptop, graphic system and supporting software. The hardware is designed on the basis of industry standard, and data acquisition and controlling system are made up by PLC. These ensure the reliability of the system. As a result, maintenance costs of the system are low, and there are no security risks. 1.MAJOR HARDWARE The portable console can simulate draw work up and down, mud pump speed regulation, and so on. 3.1 FEATURES: 1. The system has alarm settings. Trainee can set varieties of parameter limits, and when there is parameter that exceeds these
limits, the simulator will launch an alarm. These parameters include standpipe pressure, mud increase or decrease, metering tank limits, WOB, anti-collision limits, drilling torque, safety valve. System software can deal with standpipe safety valve onset, anti-collision locked, torque locked, and so on.
2. The display system makes trainee feel immersive through using HD triple-channel surrounded screen projection and 3D animation simulation. The animation shows relationship between various types of work, positions, and practices in drilling process. It can switch or show different scenes on screens upon requirements, such as drill racking platform, drilling fluid flow path, and curves of real-time data.

Gas control panel
The gas control panel controls the valves and
devices in the gas-collection system. The
console consists of the following panels: low
pressure gas well control panel, high pressure
gas well control panel, heater control panel,
three-phase separator control panel, flow-meter
control panel, pressure-release panel, pig sender
control panel, pig receiver control panel,
foaming agent injection control panel,

Oil collection console The oil collection console controls the valves and devices in the oil collection system. ITEM: LS-1 WELL LOGGING SIMULATION SYSTEM PART NUMBER: 0210900016 BASIC FUNCTION: The LS-1 well-logging simulation and training system is an advanced training system for well-logging groups,
vocational school and petroleum college. The system is composed of full-scale well-logging apparatus room, sand table well
site model, sensor model, advanced well-logging software, abnormal accident simulation software and sensor detection
software developed by EsimTech. It simulates the complete well-logging procedure, and students are trained to master
operation techniques and treatment of accident in drilling.
Main functions:
1. Demonstrate the structure of well site and function of well-logging in drilling;
2. Demonstrate the structure and operation of gas detection system.
3. Simulates 46 items of accidents of 5 categories. Students are able to forecast and deal with accident after train.
4. Provide training for students the function of sensor in well-logging and their location in well site.
5. Instructor can demonstrate the use of software in LS-1 well-logging simulation and training system by KVM.

The industrial cabinet integrates industrial

The sand table derrick model is made according
to 70D rig with 1:20 scale, which is the same
with device in real well site. Students can learn
rig components, connection of manifolds,
device on rig floor and structure and function of
mud tank area.

Sensor model The model includes sensors in real well-logging site: draw-works sensor, pump stroke sensor, rotary speed sensor, rotary torque sensor, entrance/exit conductivity sensor, entrance/exit density sensor, entrance/exit temperature sensor, ultrasonic liquid level sensor, electronic torque sensor, standpipe pressure sensor, casing pressure sensor, hanging weight sensor and H2S sensor.

Power control system
The apparatus room, instructor’s console, sand table and other system device of the LS-1 well-logging simulation and
training system are powered by power control system. The main switch is in the industrial cabinet and the unit switch is in the
power control box, which is easy to control.
KVM
The KVM switch connects keyboard, mouse
and VGA ports Instructor can access and
control computer in apparatus room and
demonstrate to students how to use the
software. The projection can also be switched
between computers and students outside the
apparatus can watch and learn.

The instructor console is composed of a high
performance graphic computer and an
instructor computer. The graphic program of
sensor detection system running on the
graphic computer displays the 3D location of
each sensor vividly. The accident simulation
software and main control software of sensor
detection system runs on the instructor

Long chart printer
The printer prints well-logging curves and
real-time data. The well-logging curve is an
indictor for abnormal condition, and is useful
for tracking treatment of accident.

The 4000 lumen projector can switch projection between computer, graphic computer and instructor computer of instructor’s console.
Sound alarm unit
Users can set alarm limit for some parameters in well-logging software. When the collected data triggers the upper limit or
lower limit, the alarm sound will ring. Software
The software part of LS-1 well-logging simulation and training system consists of accident simulation software, well-logging
software, sensor detection main software and sensor detection graph program.
The accident simulation software is proprietary simulation software owned by EsimTech. It simulates accidents in drilling,
totally 46 items of 6 categories and drilling operations like tripping in and out, drilling, circulating and redressing. It can also
playback well-logging data for 5 complete wells.
The well-logging software uses Riglog solution of Shanghai Oushen Company. The Riglog is a popular well-logging software
applied in oil field, which can collect and record data of sensors and chromatograph, as well as print data in real-time.
Software of sensor detection system consists of the sensor detection main software, sensor detection graphic program and sensor
detection PLC program. Student can learn the location of sensor by connecting the plug of sensor to corresponding air connector, and
the graphic program will display its location and related data like measurement range.
The PLC program of power control system is used to supervise sensors in apparatus room, such as H2S sensor, combustible gas
sensor, smoke sensor and micro differential pressure sensor. When an alarm is triggered by a sensor, the gas trap power is cut off. CHINA EDUCATIO

The fracturing vehicle console of the simulator is the
same with real fracturing vehicle console. It simulates
operations of fracturing vehicle start, stop, sudden
stop, gear select and rotary speed adjustment.

The manifold console controls the connection

The Gas boosting and distribution sand table
simulates a gas boosting and distribution station
pressed by an electric pressure pump. The station
is composed of a set of pig receiving device, two
sets of pig sending device, three sets of cyclone
filter separator, two sets of electric pumps and
metering device.

Crude oil long-distance transportation sand
table
The Crude oil long distance transportation
sand table simulates the process of crude oil
transportation. It consists of four parts: First
station, oil and tank to tank station, which is a
non-closed intermediate station, pump to pump
station, which is a closed intermediate station,
and final station. Each station is equipped with
heater, pump, pig and tanks according to
requirement. This system simulates kinds of
condition in crude oil long distance
transportation.

It indicates various hanging weight and sticking in drilling and tripping. Clutch operation is vivid: the operation of engaging and disengaging clutch is the same as that of a real work-over machine.
3. Graphics Presentation Animation is used to simulate field environment, which makes trainee feel in real field. Controllable animation displays kinds of operations, downhole scene, field scene, equipment movement. Thus complex techniques, theory and operation of equipment become obvious.
4. Sound and Sound & Light Alarm It has sound system. The Sound is in correspondence with operation, animation and equipment status. The Sound & Light Alarm is in correspondence with operation, animation and equipment status.
5. Testing and Measurement The system provides function of testing and scoring, which provides objective and fair measurement according to operation essentials and faults.
