TRANSCRIPT
The logo for the artist
is shown at the top of
the web page this
allows it to be noticed
by the audience to link
it to the name of the
artist.
This is also consistent
throughout the whole
website.
The colour pallet is
made up of
black, orange and
white. Because of
the black and white
the orange stands
out as a vibrant and
bright colour. This
gives of a cheerful
and positive vibe to
his site which can
be transferred to his
genre.
The theme of the
font continues
through out the
web page as
messy and hand
written, this then
can connote
stereotypes of
his image being
different and
independent .
Because of the
continuity of the
font it also shows
that the website
is professional.
The paw from Ed Sheeran’s logo has also
been used as an indication when
something is loading, this is another way
which makes his web page independent as
most sites would just simply use ‘loading’.
Its also a way of putting his own stamp on it
and making it his own.
He has also included a flash on his website, this
is an interesting way to inform the target audience
of upcoming events or merchandise. I also like
the idea that you can click on the flash and it
takes you straight to a page dedicated to what it is
promoting.
When searching into Ben
Howard’s logo I could not
find a specific one he goes
by however I fount a type
of font he stuck by for
album covers which I can
see now by looking into his
website that he has
continued throughout all
his media.
When the user of the website
scrolls over a title to another
page it lights up in orange
which is a little added extra to
make his website clear, the
colour used runs through the
colour pallet which is white,
black and an orange/ gold. As
I noticed also runs through Ed
Sheeran’s site. Even though
the two artists are not of the
same genre it is shown that by
using that colour that they are
unique genres and orange is
not a common colour to be
used for other artists.
I find the quirky little
feature of having a
moving image in the
background very
interesting as it brings
your attention to this part
of the page, this is good
because after looking at
the feature the audience
with notice the blogs that
are included on the blog
which they obviously
want them to notice.
From researching
into logos for
Audrianna Cole and
not finding one that
is associated with
her I looked at font
she has used for
album
covers, however
comparing it to her
official website I
can see that there
is not a certain font
she keeps constant
either.
The font its self is
actually rather plain
but does have a
touch of hand
writing to it.
Used close ups to meet the
demand of the record
label, because showing of a
close up of women artists sells
albums to both male and female
audiences.
The colour pallet used is very bright similar to the ones I have
already researched into, however because she is a female artist
it is a slightly different colour however still gives of the same
effect.
The wombats
have used their
logo so that the
website is easily
recognised as
them.
They have used
many different
fonts on their
website this is
probably to
keep it different
and interesting.
The colour pallet
stands out to an
viewer to a large
extent, this is
because the
colours are so
bright, it also
gives an insight of
there music for
being mellow and
cheerful maybe
slightly high beat.
