Sidhe Corruptor

Sidhe Corruptors- The strongest wizards in Camelot have found a way to summon and

bind the creatures of the Dark Forests! Turn their dark magic’s to your side and command

them as a powerful Horsed unit. The Corruptors will rush to the front lines and cause massive

damage but will themselves be destroyed in the process and need to be summoned once

more through the new Barracks. They serve as a powerful counter to units with high defense

or Shield Sorcerer’s barriers.

There are quite a few references in the game to Sidhes, Sidhe Scorpion and

Sidhe Templar are troops found in the Dark Forests, and due to their High

Attack can cause quite a few losses when you engage the Dark Forests. In

addition, the Sidhe Seal was a requirement for city 9, but never came into

play, as they went for Ascension and not releasing additional cities. (City

deeds were till city 10).

So, this new troop, the Sidhe Corruptor is classified as a Horsed troop.

But in addition, you can see the other stats, High Life, Low Defense, Very

High Attack and High Combat speed. With 3500 (base) combat speed the

Sidhe is even faster than Scouts (Base Combat Speed 3000).

It's not a hard and fast rule that Siege Walls are automatically attacked first. Siege

Walls always position themselves to be attacked first but if they're sufficiently

debuffed or other units are sufficiently buffed, another unit can be attacked first.

Since the Sidhes are high on the priority list, it's possible they'll be attacked before

Siege Walls by ranged units, and since they're so fast, it's possible they can sneak into

melee range before the Siege Walls. Nothing changed about the functionality of the

Siege Wall itself, the Sidhes are just fast enough/draw enough threat that stats now

determine what gets attacked first.

Sidhe Corruptors have additional priority over

the Siegewalls since they do so much damage

and are so fast. Ranged units focus on them to

stop the initial threat and then focus on the main

forces.

When the Corruptors attack an enemy, they die in the process.

It's only the ones that actively attack though. So if you have 500 Corruptors

fighting a small group of enemies that only require 100 Corruptors to kill, the

100 will attack and destroy themselves and the other 400 will still be alive.

Also, Corruptors that simply move down the battlefield but don't engage in

combat won't be destroyed either. So if the Corruptors are moving forward

but a ranged unit takes out the enemy first, the Corruptors won't be

destroyed.

You can Train them for free, but with Requirements.

The Sidhe Corrupter is a Horsed type unit that can be trained in a Level 12

Barracks. Upgrading to the Level 12 Barracks will require using the new

"Barracks Illumination" item. (You get the item occasionally (chance to win)

in promotions)

Once upgraded, you'll be able to train these units using a "Corruptor Seed",

which can be crafted. (The Mara Chest in Spire gives 50k Corruptors seeds)

(Daily Limit 5)

50k Corruptor Seeds will give you 50k Sidhe Corruptors.

In Various Promotions & Events the Sidhe Corruptor is given.

Sidhe Corruptors cannot be revived.

Reviving is not an option for this troop, so you either need to craft the Corruptors Seeds

or win these troops in various promotions and events. Thus if they die, they die.

Sidhe Corruptors do not have SpellPower.

Even though the report may say that the unit has spell power abilities in the report, it

actually does not have. This is an error in the release of the troop by Rockyou and

probably because the dev, used an SpellCaster troop template to create the Sidhes in the

game. It was supposed to be corrected, but guess what, it wasn’t and probably never

will.

Sidhe Corruptors do have high Accuracy stats against other troops.

As you can see the Sidhe has a very good & high base accuracy against other units.

Against Siege Walls an Accuracy of 3

Other Units have a medium or low Accuracy against Sidhes. (Red Column)

So having Accuracy & Accuracy debuff in the TR is a GREAT enhancer of the base

Accuracy

On Sidhes Vs and on Troops VS Sidhes.

The Accuracy against SpellCasters is unknown at this moment.

Sidhe Corruptors Attack & Defense Uses: Comparing the base stats vs Battle stats enhanced via TR.

The Corruptors will rush to the front lines and cause massive damage but will

themselves be destroyed. They serve as a powerful counter to units with high

defense or Shield Sorcerer’s barriers.

On Defense:

The Corruptors will rush to the front lines and cause massive damage but will

Great to add to the existing defending troops.

You need Defense stats, Combats Speed, Life, ATTACK & Accuracy in buff &

debuff preferably to bolster the Sidhe Corruptor.

On Attack:

Sharing is knowledge, and a lot of players are not sharing. Yes, it gives you and edge, or advantage, but

it leaves also many people clueless. The objective of these tutorials, is to teach, learn, educate players so ALL players have

a better under understanding of the game. The more players participate, the better the overall experience is for all players.

More attacking and defending means “lively” domains full of activity.
