2014 was a banner year to celebrate diversity and community. It’s not just for

the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people of Staten Island – it’s for

everyone! Come discover what it means to be LGBT on the Island and take a

stand for diversity, inclusion and acceptance.

Celebrate with live music, information booths, food trucks, doggy drag,

performances, beverage areas, a 5K Pride Fun Run, and more! This day-long

event has activities for the whole family. Be a role model and show that

acceptance and inclusion is a choice.

The 2014 Staten Island PrideFest was a huge success, drawing in more

than 2,200 people from across the greater New York/New Jersey area.

2015 will see Staten Island PrideFest back at Snug Harbor Cultural Center

& Botanical Gardens. This partnership proved to be wildly successful and

both sides want to continue this wonderful relationship for the

betterment of the whole community. Saturday, July 11th, 2015 will be the

date to be at the Pride Center of Staten Island’s PrideFest; one of New

York City’s “can’t-miss” LGBT events.

I want to thank the PrideFest planning committee members, the staff of the

Center and all the sponsors, volunteers and community members who help

make this annual PrideFest possible.
