worry about the darkness, for that is when the stars shine brightest.

From The DRR’s Desk

Hi Friends,

April has been a month full of college exams , job placements etc. however I must

appreciate all the clubs , specially institute based clubs for still taking up projects .

This shows their dedication towards service to the society.

I want to acknowledge clubs who joined Anna Hazre‟s initiative on wiping out

corruption from this country. Delhi Vikas Club participated in March against

corruption at India Gate. Delhi South club members prepared posters and fast at

Delhi University campus. Their contribution for sure motivated and inspired people

around in supporting this noble cause.

I appreciate rotaractors from NSIT who continue to take classes for laborers in the

their college campus five days a week. Teaching and inspiring this section of the

society will surely have a long terms impact on the education level of the this

country. We all must focus on education of the underprivileged as illiteracy is the

cause of all issues like population etc. in our country.

As you all know that the rotaract tenure for 2010-11 is about to get over in a months

time , its time to form new teams , look at the grey areas and work on them for the

upcoming year. There are hundreds of yesterdays that passed and many more

tomorrow‟s still to come. What we plan today would be our future.

I wish you all the very best and keep up this good work.

Cheers!!

Tonnes of Love & Regards,

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary. Through the Rotaract program, young adults not only augment their knowledge and skills, but they also address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.
