The Daly Capers Flash animation week cartoon starring redneck golfing superstar John Daly. Each week Daly is on the range giving a very expensive lesson to a young aspiring golfer. Shortly after each lesson begins, Daly gets waylaid and goes off on a tangent, asking the boy “Son, where exactly were you when they landed on the moon?”. After which Daly gives his fractured account of those events, getting things gloriously wrong. Each week a different historical incident: Building of the pyramids; Shooting of JFK;

The winner at the end of the series is the player who gets closest to the pin. Prize is a fantabulous golfing holiday for 4 at Sandy Lane/Polaris World etc. A hole in one wins the car outright! A hole in one wins a fancy car. Let’s face it - they can’t shift them on the forecourt. Shouldn’t be too hard to get a car – and insured against Hole In One anyway.

Lost! When a local golf club changes the tee position on the par five 13th, they unwittingly give birth to a new TV series. Any sliced tee shot lands in a forgotten part of the course. It is so overgrown that the members don’t even bother looking for their ball. Inside the rough is a small lake and an old bunker. To the golf balls that land here, this is the sea and the beach. The balls that land here are lost in a mysterious and magical place. Each ball is a caricature of a famous tour player: Ian Poulter; Phil Mickelson; Tiger Woods; John Daly; Colin Montgomerie; Camillo Vilegas; Paul Casey; Boo Weekley etc etc. As the balls realize they may be lost forever, two factions are created, one led by Phil Mickelson and one led by Tiger Woods. Paranoia and distrust quickly sets in and the two estranged groups go their separate ways in search of escape. Follow their adventures every week as they go in search of redemption and the 19th hole. Think Michael Bentine’s Potty Time meets golf for the Youtube generation.

Harry Putter & The Order Of Merit Debacle: Flash cartoon series in which Harry Putter uses his magical three iron to thwart the evil doings of various tour pro master criminals: The Golf Scorpion Camillo Villegas; The Tiger; The Goose (Retief Goosen) etc etc..

Background on Golf:Golf is the fourth most popular participation sport in the UK, with 4.6 million adults playing, and a worldwide audience of over 55 million. The total golfer universes of the key golf markets are as follows:

UK 4,600,000 Scandinavian 1,800,000 German 1,500,000 Rest of Europe 1,800,000 USA 28,0000,000 China 2,500,000 Far East 14,000,000

54,200,000

Around 17% of all adults claim to watch golf on television, easily exceeding the proportions who ever play.

According to Sports Marketing Surveys data, golf was the second-most televised sport in 2006 after football, and is therefore exposed to a large passive audience, including several million potential players.

The Open delivers the biggest viewing audience. In 2008 the final stages of the competition drew a peak audience of 4.7 million, which accounted for a 25% share of total terrestrial viewing. This also demonstrates the interest there is in the game outside of the immediate UK golfing community.
