•Grade K、KD anti-corrosive solid sucker rod

The H2S、CO2、CL- such corrosive media in the production fluid will

corrosive the sucker rod and cause failure easily, resulting great loss. Due to

this situation, we developed grade K、KD anti-corrosive solid sucker rod.

Product use special nickel-chromium molybdenum alloy steel material,

produced by special process. Many years application can proved, that can

effective prevent H2S、CO2、CL- such corrosive media effect on the sucker

rod, and been successfully applied in the offshore petroleum.

Upsetting equipment: The company has more than one level forging machine

can process a variety of conventional rod and adjustable rod, polished rod and

so on.


Automatic forging equipment: the new purchased forging machine can ma

ke company production capacity up to 20 million meters per year.

The new equipment is one of the world's most advanced forging machine:

1. The military technology is adopted for the first time for material scale pr

eprocessing;

2. The heating temperature control can achieve + 9 ℃ (precision control);

3. Four precision forging molding to ensure the product quality;

4. Effectively reduce the influence of human factors on the quality.

Production process and Equipment

Heat treatment equipment:

Our company owns two heat treatment lines: One is equipped with the biggest

continuous resistance furnace of sucker rod in China, the production length can reach up

to 10 meters, our customers are both at home and abroad; for the other heat treatment

line, the internal furnace temperature is stable at ±5℃ (ultra-precision control)


Thermal straightening equipment:

Multi-level thermal straightening to ensure that the requirements of domestic and

foreign customers straightness.


Blasting Equipment


Testing equipment: testing the country's first head row four stations, detection accuracy

up to 7/50 (the highest testing standards).


CNC Equipment: All threads are used automatic CNC machining rolling, equipment and

personnel quality assurance requirements in accordance with API threads;


Leaching paint equipment: leaching paint production line to achieve uniform coverage rod

full length film, the film thickness of 0.04 ~ 0.06mm.

4. Quality Control and Detection capability

1. Our raw materials are sourced from Sucker Shougang Corporation, Xinjiang Bayi

Iron and Steel, Xining Special Steel and other manufacturers. Each furnace number of

raw materials into the factory, our company is testing samples of raw materials, check

the material, verify the chemical composition, we preserve relevant information for five

years in accordance with standards for future inquiries.

2. Our raw material rod 100% inspection to ensure product quality from the source.

3. Magnetic flux leakage inspection for raw materials of sucker rods uses

NT-93C automatic magnetic flux leakage detector. The company has

acquired three magnetic flux leakage inspection certificates, which

effectively assures 100% of magnetic flux leakage inspection.


4. During the processing of sucker rod en forging, infrared thermometer

and close-up heating equipment are used to control the beginning

temperature that avoids overheating and the appearance of grain-

coarsening phenomenon.

5. Quenching is one of the important processes during sucker rod

manufacturing to meet the mechanical requirement. The company

currently has a large size precision instrument controlled rod continuous

heating, using original way through immersion quenching for overall heat

treatment of sucker rod. Each furnace takes at least two samples to do the

mechanical testing while lab reports record kept for at least five years.

6. A variety of equipment guaranteed the straightness of sucker rod ends

complied with API 11B standard.


7. Blast intensity is 0.25 ~ 0.4A (using the arc high value gauge), the rod s

urface coverage is greater than 100%. Blasting increase the surface residua

l compressive stress and improve the material’s anti-fatigue ability.

8. The sucker rod head is machined by automatic CNC, the precision is gr

eatly increased and the quality is stable. The rod head threads adopt roller

extrusion molding and the overall strength is greatly improved after the thr

ead extrusion 9. Clean the thread and coat with thread compound, both en

ds are equipped with special seal structure protector and protecting plug.

10. Apply spray painting to ensure the sucker rod surface anticorrosion wit

hout omission.

1. Highland sucker rod is a qualified supplier of Baker Hughes. We have

years of sucker rod exporting experience, the products have been sold to

America, Australia, middle-east, middle-Asia, south east of Asia and Europe.

2. Highland company signed cooperation agreement with GuoJinHua on

Aug 2014 to establish Shandong Highland Shenglong Sucker Rod Company.,

Ltd of which brought new product concept to Highland. Highland has

understood and grasped the requirement for quality control by Cameron, and

based on the original, improved each technical indicators, which made a big

development on the quality for sucker rod.

3. Highland Shenglong has bought an automatic horizontal forging machine (to be

installed on August), which has the best quality of all over the world. The forging

temperature can be controlled at ±9℃ that assured the stability of internal organization.

It also uses military technology to prevent scale generation, improve the forged parts,

expand forging work surface and especially four time forging forming makes sure the

appearance of sucker rods. It has advantages of high working efficiencies, automatic

forging and reduced the impact of human factors. We transformed the heat treatment

furnace to make sure the temperature can be control at ±5℃ and solved the scratch

issue of rod body. We analyzed the rod straightness issue and thus self-designed

advanced facility to assure the straightness of sucker rod complied with API standard.

On the thread processing, we adopted CNC lathe and a set of effective process control to

assure the consistency of the thread. We also self-designed and made painting

equipment, of which significantly improved the appearance quality of sucker rod. We

can provide satisfied products to meet customer’s requirements from different regions.

4. We have perfect quality management system, all the process in a controlled state. Key

data such as Production data，test data， inspect dataetc are all stored for more than five

years. First inspection, shift inspection and sampling inspection throughout the production

process of sucker rod. If customers have special requirements for products, we would

inspect every sucker rod to ensure quality, and we have similar experience. The quality of

our workers and staff members is excellent, more than 90% graduated from Senior High

School or Technical Secondary School. All the staff have been trained and proved be
