SPORTS-MASTER AND STUDENTS:

On Thursday 6th August the South East Zone of the Victorian Clay Target Association, Victorian Schoolboy/Schoolgirl Championships will take place at the Frankston Australian Clay Target Club Inc. Your School is invited to be represented at this Championship. The emphasis of the days activities are based on gun safety. Many of Australias top shooting Champions and Instructors will be involved in this aspect of the Championships.

We appreciate that gun safety is being taught to young people in many schools as a normal curriculum/sport activity and schools are using local Clay Target Clubs for practical support.

This Championship brings together young people, only with experience in gun safety.

Low recoil ammunition will be provided. The Frankston Australian Club is providing its facilities free of charge, in the interest of this safety program.

Please give this outstanding sporting day your consideration and hopefully your support for the students who have satisfied your school, that they are able to compete at a competent standard.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A CHAMPIONSHIP FOR BEGINNERS, BUT RATHER FOR THE ADVANCED STUDENTS.

THE ZONE CAN HELP WITH INFORMATION ON THE CLUB OR COACH IN YOUR AREA.

Yours faithfully,

Brooke McMillanPresident - South East Zone V.C.T.A.
