And how can taxis be optimally regulated to provide an excellent transportation service for all passengers, as well as industry stakeholders and the city at large?
Taxi 07: Roads Forward accepts a fundamental premise: that New York’s taxi services form a system—a network of interactions between people, vehicles, and the city itself. The focus of this publication is on understanding those interactions, and then considering what feasible, cost-effective, incremental changes might improve taxi services over the next ten years.
