Why Create a Tactical Communications Plan? Building a Tactical Communications Plan will help you define and track all communications needed to successfully promote your IT Operations efforts and get users excited about the new capabilities that will be available to them. Step 1: Set Clear Objectives What objectives do you want to accomplish? As soon as your project objectives align with your organizations’ objectives, you will start to see results. When creating your plan, consider the following: Situation Assessment: Where are you now? What are you trying to do? Visioning: Why are you working on this project?
