    M u sica lly , SEPTEMBER MUSIC i s in ten d ed to exp lo re th e v a rio u s

    p o s s ib le c o lo r com binations o f th e in s tru m e n ts , always re tu rn in g

    to th e b a s ic sound id e a o f a l t o saxophone, accompanied by two p e r

    cu ss io n and h a rp , and trom bone, accompanied by th re e v lo lo n c e l l i .

    The b a s ic u n ify in g d ev ice i s th e alm ost c o n s ta n t p resence of
