Step 2—Extemporaneous Speaking: Files
Articles with information on current events Newspapers and magazines, research studies, etc.
Must be entire article—can’t “cut” important quotes or statistics
May be highlighted, but each article must be highlighted in only one color
May be filed into topic areas
Step 3—Extemp: Practice Questions and Prep
Give students three questions and have them pick one Weekly questions and quizzes
