Governor Deval Patrick signed municipalhealth care reform legislation into law, thatwill provide significant and immediate sav-ings to cities and towns, while preserving ameaningful role for organized labor in theprocess.

This bill, "An Act Relative To MunicipalHealth Insurance," builds on the Patrick-Murray Administration's success in reducingrising health care costs for thousands ofsmall businesses and working familiesacross the Commonwealth, and is an impor-tant step in the Administration's efforts tobring health care system costs down.
