Network, Network, Network...During the meeting this past Friday(September 17th, 2010) Recruiter DanielPerron emphasized the necesity o net-

Dawn Lazar ollowed his speech remind-ing members about the multiple opportu-nities that are available on the college obusiness career management website.
A presentation by Deloitte was then presented to the indi-viduals who attended, ollowed by a short networking session...

Whats Happening Tis Week?- Ahead o the Game-Accounting & Business Expo
Tis event will take place on Friday, September 24, 2010 rom 4:00 PM 8:00 PM in the Gra-ham Center Ballrooms. Registration will begin at 3PM. Tere will be two rotations o students;the rst will be 4:00-5:45PM and the second 6:15-8:00PM. Tere will be a 15 minute call backperiod at the end o each session. Call backs are completely voluntary but will allow or one onone interaction with selected students. You will be given a number when you RSVP that shouldbe placed on the top right corner o each resume to more easily identiy you as a selected studentCall backs are or rms to spend a little more time networking with students and do not correlatewith interview oers or special recognition.
Last semester, more than 30 rms and companies participated in Business Industry Night andFirms Night, and over 200 students were in attendance representing the areas o Accounting, Fi-nance, and related business elds. We anticipate the upcoming event to be successul.

Start out by highlighting who you want to go to and prepare yoursel. Your resume ithe rst 20 seconds o getting your oot in the door, be sure to introduce yoursel and worthrough it, do not be nervous. Mock InterviewTis past Saturday (September 18th, 2010) members had the opportunity to experiencMock Interviews. Te event was a success, numerous companies attended and provideeedback on both the members perormance and resumes. Deloitte, Ernst & Young, IRBDO, Te Merges Group, and guest speaker Daniel Perron were all in attendance. Inteviewing is the process o taking you one step closer to a potential job oer. Membershould denitely take advantage o the upcoming mock interview events.
