Youth Sports is Looking for Volunteer Coaches for Basketball & Cheerleading: Youth Sports is looking for volunteer coaches for our Basketball and Cheerleading Season. The season will run from Jan 6-Mar 21. Practices are two nights a week, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Or 6:00-7:00 p.m. If interested please contact AMR Youth Sports on 836-1923 or Schofield Barracks on 655-6465.

Youth Sports is looking for Officials, Referees, and Umps: Youth Sports is looking for anybody in our military community who is interested in officiating in our youth sports programs. We are currently looking for officials for Flag Football, Basketball, and Baseball season. For further information please call AMR Youth Sports on 836-1923 or Schofield Barracks on 655-6465.

Youth Sports Home School Sessions: AMR Youth Sports will re-start their Home School program the first week in August. Home School will be every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m-12:00 p.m. Youth Sports will provide fitness activities such as basketball, croquet, flag football, etc. Health and Fitness activities such as 4-H Health Rocks, Hiking Trails, and bullying. This program is Free to our AMR/Ft. Shafter/ Camp Smith Home School Community. Home School participants must register with the AMR registration office. For all questions regarding registration please contact 833-5393. All questions regarding the program please contact Brittany at 836-1923 in the AMR Sports office.

Youth Sports Start Smart Program: AMR Youth Sports will re-start their 6 week Smart Start program in AMR and Ft. Shafter CDCs. This program is to help younger youth develop their gross motor skills needed for participation in sports. The program will run from the first week in September until the 1st week in October. AMR CDC will run Start Smart on Wednesday’s from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Ft. Shafter will run their program on Thursday’s from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Any questions regarding this program; please contact Brittany on 836-1923 in the AMR Sports office.

Youth Sports Flag Football Season: Flag Football season has started. Practices will begin on Sept 29. Practices are held Tues-Fri from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Practice dates and times are depended of your flag football coach. If you have questions in regards to the season please call AMR/Ft. Shafter 836-1923 or SB/HMR/Wheeler 655-6465.

Youth Sports Cheerleading Season: Cheerleading season has started. Practices will begin on Sept 29. Practices are held Tues-Fri from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Practice dates and times are depended of your cheerleading coach. If you have questions in regards to the season please call AMR/Ft. Youth Sports Basketball and Cheerleading Registration: For the youth born 1998-2009. Registration is Oct 1-Oct 31. The season runs from Jan-Mar. Please ensure when the parents register they have complete CYS registration paperwork, Youth Sports registration paperwork, up to date shot record, physical to last through the season, and birth certificate. The cost is $55 for both sports. If you have a cheerleading uniform from previous seasons the cost is $20. If you have any questions regarding registration please call AMR/Ft.
