How To Use Sensor Break-Out Cable --To Check ECPG Pressure Sensor

Sensor Breakout cable P.No.3824775 ( FOR PRESSURE SENSORS )

Purpose: To check whether the sensor is functioning while the engine is running.•Disconnect the connector(1) from the Engine wiring harness going to the sensor.

•Connect this disconnected connector(1) to the shroud(2) as shown below.

•Connect the connector(3) of the sensor breakout cable to the sensor (4).

•Pressure Sensors work on 0-5 volts dc. Check the voltage between the red & black wires of

the sensor breakout red & black terminals. This should be in the range of 4.5 vdc to 5 vdc.If

the voltage is within the specified range then the controller supplying this voltage is OK.Check the voltage between black & yellow terminals this should be in the range of 0-4.5vdc as

per the pressure on the engine. (refer to the pressure sensor table for exact values of voltages

How To Use Sensor Break-Out Cable -- To Check ECPG Actuator Voltage

Purpose: To check whether the ECPG is giving supply to Actuator when the engineis running.•Disconnect the connector(1) from the Engine wiring harness going to the Actuator.

•Connect this disconnected connector(1) to the shroud (2) as shown below.

•Connect the connector(3) of the sensor breakout cable to the Actuator(4)

Check the voltage between Red & Blue terminals. This should be in the range of 0-4.5vdc asper the Load on the engine.
