For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a Senior Biostatistician Reference Number: 57-13-806-SB-W Type of placement: Permanent Location: North Rhine - Westphalia, Germany Our client is an independent, international pharmaceutical company focused on the research, development and commercialisation of therapeutic compounds in the fields of pain and inflammation. With marketed compounds sold in over 150 countries, the company routinely invests 25% of revenues in R&D. As a consequence it boasts an exciting pipeline of NCE’s as well as innovative drug delivery technologies. Currently employing > 4,000 staff in 26 countries, our client is recognised as one of the best places to work in Europe.. Main Responsibilities: Function as the lead for statistical aspects of a clinical trial and/or development program: strategy, design, analysis and interpretation of results Collaborate within and contribute to the study team(s) and clinical core team Provide smart and innovative quantitative input to best inform a trial and/or a compound development program Oversee vendors and set up collaborations Communicate results to authorities, statistical and non-statistical audience Qualifications and Experience: University degree in mathematics, statistics, biometry or equivalent Solid knowledge of biostatistical methods & techniques Experience with clinical research, drug safety and regulatory processes Awareness regarding industry guidelines Scientific interest Ability to organize work in a structured fashion with attention to detail Ability to work in a team setting Strong communication skills International and intercultural work experience Knowledgeable about key indications and substance classes Fluent in both written and spoken English Our offer: Competitive salary and package Wide range of career opportunities in a large pharmaceutical organisation International experience
