Anticipating tomorrow’s needs, the platformarchitecture is expandable, accommodatingadditional analyzers, upgrades and otheraccessories with ease.
Foreseeing all regulatory changes over the entirelife cycle of a PEMS analyzer can be challenging.Opting for a non-scalable PEMS solution can provecostly when new regulations require new analyticalcapabilities only a few years into the life cycle of theanalyzer.
The SEMTECH® LDV network-enabled architectureis scalable, so that it can adapt to these changingregulations. At the core of the system is a web servercollecting all data from all Ethernet sub-assembliesand modules, whether internal or external, in realtime,and transferring them to the local processingengine for diagnostics and data treatment. Resultsare then posted in real-time to web pages, which arestreamed to any personal computing device with abrowser, such as a tablet, laptop or smart phone.
Adding a module to the LDV system is simply a matterof plugging in another web appliance, or data node,to the analyzers’ local network. Additional modulesmay include:
• FID• Dual FID• CPN - Continuous Particle Number Module• Calibration Module• I/O Module
This flexibility in configuration offers expandabilityof the initial SEMTECH® LDV solution over a longperiod of time.
