Baseado nestes fatos as recomendações são simples:• É tempo de informar ao imperador que ele não está usando
roupas.• Devemos despir o mito de que a mortalidade relacionada com a
anestesia melhorou em magnitude.• A ciência não suporta esta afirmação. Nós devemos começar os
nossos esforços para metodizar a coleta de dados e análise, para compartilhar os dados mundialmente.
• Grandes bancos de dados internacionais permitirão o desenvolvimento de modelos de ajustes de risco e identificação das melhores práticas.
