2.0 General points :

2.1 Bidders may quote for any one or all Package. The evaluation shall

however be carried out Packagewise.

.

2.2 The prices to be quoted against this tender shall be in Indian rupees only.

2.3 A complete set of bidding documents may be obtained by application and upon payment of specified amount towards cost of bid documents either in

cash or by demand draft towards cost of bid documents payable to

MAHATRANSCO Ltd. (MSETCL), Mumbai and drawn on any

Nationalised/ Scheduled Bank, payable at Mumbai. However, issue of the bid

document will not automatically mean that such bidder is qualified.

2.4 Further Interested eligible bidders may obtain additional information, if needed, from the office of the

Chief Engineer (Transmission Project),

2.5 Bidders are requested to note the following details :

1.

Date and time for sale of the document 07-10-08 to 22- 10-.08 (On

all working days, from

11.00 hrs. to 15.00 hrs.)

2. Price of bid documents Rs.50,000/-+MVAT Extra.

3. Last date and time for submission of bids 17 -11-2008 up to 11.00

hrs.

4. Date and time for opening of Techno-

commercial bids.

17-11-2008 at 11.30 hrs.

5 Opening of price bid Will be conveyed later on

6. Work completion period 12 months from date of

LOA, including monsoon.

7. Total estimated cost Rs.36593.72 lacs

2.6 In case the due date for sale, receipt and/or opening of bids happens to be a holiday, the next working day shall be the corresponding due date.

2.7 The bidder will have to furnish Bank Guarantee in prescribed format equivalent to 1% of the estimated cost for each package in lieu of Bid Security

Deposit payable at Mumbai at the time of submission of bid documents.

2.8 The bidders who have already carried out / carrying out the construction work of new substation / Augmentation work on turnkey basis in

MSETCL, their work performance will be considered for evaluation of

the tender.

2.9 In Civil Price Schedule Estimate, Civil estimate of other end bays for that particular substation are not included except 220 KV Kopergaon S/S.

That will be paid as per actual for respective S/S DSR.

2.10 25 MVA TRASFORMER will be supplied by MSETCL where ever available. Appropriate Cost of the transformer will be deducted.
