The End Point Assessment checks that you have met the apprenticeship standard and are ready to join the profession with full occupational competence.

In accordance with the final assessment plan for the apprenticeship standard, the final assessments for the University award incorporate the requirements of the integrated EPA. (Please DELETE either integrated or non-integrated below and add further detail as appropriate e.g. the EPA methods which will be used and the grading information.)Integrated degree apprenticeship the EPA for the apprenticeship coincides with the completion of your degree programme. The degree apprenticeship standard specifies that the approved assessment plan is integral to your degree outcome. This means that the outcome of the EPA will determine your Degree Award and your Level 6 Apprenticeship Certificate.

Non-integrated degree apprenticeships the EPA for the apprenticeship does not coincide with the completion of your degree programme. You, as an apprentice, must complete an additional EPA after the completion of your degree studies. In the case of non-integrated apprenticeships, the University CANNOT be the lead End Point assessor of the apprenticeship – this role will be carried out by a third party from the Register of End Point Assessment Organisations.
