Your Turn… You are going to create your own “Search and Find”

picture.

On the top half of your paper, draw a “Search and Find” picture and identify 10 different items in that picture that you want your classmates to find.

Use the other half of your paper to write 10 sentences with 10 different prepositional phrases that describe where your items are located in your picture. (See the example on the next slide.)

THE PICTURES AND THE SENTENCES GO ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE PAPER.

Search and Find • There are 15 items scattered at certain

locations.

• Search these locations to find the items. On a sheet of paper, write a complete sentence using a prepositional phrase to tell where you found each item. Make sure to underline the prepositional phrase.

• EX: The lion is under the desk.

• The team which finishes first by being back in its seat with all the sentences completed correctly wins a big, big prize and a check with $1000.00 in it!
