ADVANCE NOTICE

The Parish Office will be closed on Easter Tuesday (3rd April).

LEGION OF MARY

Every Wednesday evening at 5.00pm.

The Mystery of Faith

We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your Resurrection

until you come again.

Fundraising Campaign

We have raised $5,197.00 to date which will go towards our air-conditioning and our new organ. Thanks to everyone for your support.

BINGO

Have fun with your friends while supporting your Parish Community at Bingo every Monday evening at the Carrum Downs Bingo Centre, 554 Frankston-Dandenong Road, Carrum Downs.

Thank you to our volunteers who give their time to make this happen each week. We recently were delighted to receive a cheque for $15,000 from Bingo donations.

FOR YOUR ATTENTION We have been told that a couple of churches have been broken into recently. I advise that we need to be vigilant. If you notice any unusual movements around the church, please advise Fr. Benneth immediately. Those who are entrusted with church keys, please ensure you take care of them.

Thank you from Fr. Benneth.

OUR FUTURE—OUR PARISH—OUR VISION

In the next week—after Easter— we will compile a list of pros and cons for all the options to our parishioners. These will be presented soon. Please keep our Parish Project in your prayers. From Fr. Benneth

May the Risen Christ fill your heart with joy, bring you hope, and bless you with peace. Amen. Happy Easter!

Congratulations to our RCIA catechumens and candidates who

will receive their Sacraments this weekend.

Dear God, we ask you to bless Justin, Christie and Virginia who

are moving forward into the fullness of faith in You and full

Communion in the life of our Catholic Family.

Protect them on their journey and empower them

with the gifts of your Holy Spirit.

ALTAR SERVERS

We have had a number of new Altar Servers start with us on our rosters to serve at our Masses. We now therefore need more room for our Altar Servers to get changed, so space has been allocated in the back room next to the ladies’ toilet. In keeping with our Child Safe Standards, this space needs to be restricted to only parents of Altar Servers being present when children are changing, or anyone supervising must have a current WWCC check. Because this space is now shared with our Decorations Team, we also need to ask that anyone in this area doesn’t move any items or decorations that are in this area.

Fr. Benneth

GOLD COIN DONATION—at all Masses this weekend for our Parish Centre. Your support is appreciated!

More fundraising envelopes are available this weekend for our 4 week fundraising campaign

towards our beautiful new organ and our air-conditioning.

Wishing you a Blessed Easter

Dear Parishioners and Friends, We, the Faith Community of St. Anne’s, had a grace-filled Lenten journey this year. Amongst other faith and spiritual activities we had this Lent, we had the daily celebrations of the Eucharist, weekly exposition and Adoration of the Eucharist, Lenten Reflections, Stations of the Cross, Rosary prayers, masses in the local nursing homes in our parish and our Adult Sacramental Education Program. They were really special times of grace and renewal. May we all be blessed this Easter Season with the gifts of Peace, Joy and Friendship. Thanks to all our Parish groups, volunteers and individuals for their hard work, commitment and generosity during this Lent and Easter Season. May the Risen Lord Jesus energise our faith and commitment to justice and peace for all those seeking peace, freedom, security, and welcoming hands.
