*** *** *** While thanking you for the co-operation being extended for the conduct of Entrance Test conducted by APREI Society, I wish to state that the Society has decided to conduct the APRJC-CET & RDC-CET-2018 on 10-05-2018 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 P.M at all the district headquarters for admission into I year Intermediate & I year degree courses for the academic year 2018-19 in seven General, three minority AP Residential Junior Colleges, A P Residential Degree college(Men) at Nagarjunasagar, Guntur District and Silver jubilee Govt. College(Co-Ed), Kurnool in the state. It is informed that, the centre wise OMR Answer Sheets, Question paper Packets will be sent through the Route Officer along with the other examination material. One of the Centre is allotted as general centre for RJC & RDC candidates. In case of the candidates approach the DEO/Dist. Coordinator with their hall tickets, such candidates may be allotted to that Centre.

The District Educational Officers are requested to make necessary arrangements and appoint required number of invigilators @ one invigilator for 24 students and inform the Chief Superintendent about invigilators appointment well in advance. Suitable instructions may be issued to all the Chief Superintendents to appoint one clerk, one Attender / watermen @ 50 students allotted to the Center. He is requested to instruct invigilators to report to the Chief Superintendent at the centre at 8.00 A.M. positively on the day of the test for further instructions.

I would like to inform that the group wise Question papers of APRJC-CET are supplied in the form of booklets containing questions 1 to 150. Each question is given in both English and Telugu versions .Each Question Paper packet contains 8 question papers in two sets A,B,C,D + A,B,C,D. The Chief Superintendents shall be instructed to see that the Question Papers in each Code are distributed in such a way that no identical Question Papers are issued to candidates sitting side by side in any angle. A Model seating plan is given below for APRJC CET.

The confidential material i.e., the sealed Question paper Bundles and the OMR Answer sheets shall be preserved in the District Treasury under the Joint custody of the District Revenue Officer and the District Educational Officer. The DEOs‟ are requested to arrange to handover the center-wise sealed Question Paper Bundle and the OMR Answer Sheet packets to the Chief Superintendents concerned on 10-05-2018 by 9.00 a.m. in the presence of the Departmental officer since both are the Joint Custodians by utilizing the District Coordinator‟s assistance.

The D.E.O. is requested to appoint Route Officers and Six Examination Centres should be allotted to each Route Officer. The Route Officer has to distribute Pre-Examination material i.e. OMR Answer Sheets and Question Papers etc. to the Chief Superintendents and assist the chief Superintendent in handing over the Post-Examination material soon after the completion of the Examination. The D.E.O. is requested to inform the Route Officers about their appointment in advance and instruct them to attend at the District Treasury Office (STO) by 7.30 a.m. on 10-05-2018. The route Officers shall also act as flying squad for the route they are allotted to them.

The certain number of question paper packets of APRJC & RDC CET-2018 are also kept in reserve in the DEO bulk. In case of emergency need, the Chief Superintendents should intimate the DEO for obtaining the required number of Question Paper Booklets immediately from the DEO bulk and see that all the students get the question paper booklets.

The Departmental Officers will be appointed by the Secretary, APREI Society from among the Principals/Junior Lecturers / PGTs of the APRE Institutions of the District. He/She will be the direct representative of the APREI Society at the Examination Center. They have to look after the arrangements made in the center for the smooth conduct of the Test like proper seating plan, seating arrangements and allotment of invigilators to the examination rooms only half an hour before the commencement of the Test by following the Lottery system. The DEOs are requested to instruct all the Chief Superintendents and the Departmental Officers to make frequent rounds to the Examination rooms to arrest the unto do things and to ensure the smooth conduct of the test as per rules. If any deviation is found, it may be booked under malpractice.

The OMR answer sheet has pre printed variable data with bar code. Hence, it is very specific and identifiable, non-transferable and should be given to the particular candidate only. It is preprinted with candidate‟s photo and other particulars. If any damage is noticed to the bar

code OMR Answer sheet the Blank OMR should be used and such usage details should be given in a separate proforma given for that purpose. The Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer both should jointly handover the post examination material to the DEO. They have to submit proper account to the District Coordinator for the advance sanctioned to the chief superintendent in the proforma given for that purpose. Any deviation in handing over the material and the account both will be held responsible.

The District Collector was requested to spare the services of the District Revenue Officer to act as the Joint Custodian for the confidential material along with the District Educational Officer and in addition to it, he will be the District level Observer to look after the arrangements made, for the smooth conduct of the Test and have to attend the meeting to be convened by the DEO to the specified officers and staff.

The DEOs are requested to arrange a meeting on 09-05-2018 at 11.00 a.m. along with the District Revenue Officer and the District Co-ordinator, to all the Chief Superintendents and the Departmental Officers, to discuss instructions issued to them and for issue of suitable guidelines, to take all precautionary measures for the smooth conduct of the Test. Use of cell phones by the invigilators, students and other staff in examination duty is strictly prohibited.

The Chief Superintendents, the Departmental Officers and other personnel involved on conduct of the test should understand and scrupulously follow the instructions without giving any scope for unto do things. Except the confidential material (Question Papers and OMR Answer Sheets) the other material and the advance sanctioned for the centre should be handed over to the chief superintendents in the meeting itself. The District Educational Officer is requested to address the Superintendent of Police for arranging bandobast at all the examination centres and he should also instruct all the Chief Superintendents to address the Station House Officer concerned for the arrangement of the same.

The DEOs are requested to instruct the CS‟s and the DO‟s „not to allow any group or center changes‟ except the changes made by the Convener. It is informed that the candidate‟s complete particulars are provided in marked copy of the Nominal Roll and on the Hall Ticket. If any candidate approaches the Chief Superintendent or the Departmental Officer with a request for effecting correction in his/her particulars (in case of Reservation Category only) they are Authorized to effect corrections in the Marked copy of the Nominal Roll by obtaining a written request from the candidate and forward such requests with their remarks to the Convener for taking further action.

No candidate shall be allowed in to the examination hall without proper Hall Ticket. The DEOs‟ are requested to instruct all the Chief Superintendents and the Departmental Officers that they may issue duplicate Hall Tickets to the Candidates whose names are found in the Center nominal roll after obtaining the undertaking from the candidate.

The Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer soon after completion of the test will hand over the complete post examination material including unused Question Papers to the DEO who in turn will hand over the same to the Route Officer who was authorized by the Convener/Secretary to receive the same.

The District Educational Officers are requested to send a comprehensive report on conduct of the APRJC- CET & RDC-CET -2018 through the Route Officer in a separate sealed cover. All the District Educational Officers and their Office Staff are informed that for Constitution of Examination Centres, appointment of Chief Superintendents and overall supervision and overseeing the arrangements for the conduct of the Test at the District Level they will be paid remuneration as follows:-

With reference to the subject cited, it is informed that, the District Educational Officer has constituted the examination centers and appointed the Chief Superintendents for the conduct of APRJC-CET & RDC-CET- 2018 and the Time table is as follows:-

The Chief Superintendents are requested to appoint required number of Invisilators well in advance.

The centre wise strength particulars will be sent separately. The Chief Superintendent is requested to make necessary arrangements like required number of rooms, seating arrangement, one clerk, one Attender and one waterman for every 50 candidates. The remuneration for the Staff is as follows: Chief Superintendent @ Rs.400/-and Rs.120/- towards Conveyance charges, One Clerk Rs.125/-, One Attender @ Rs.100/- for two days and for invigilator Rs.150/-and Rs.120/- towards Conveyance charges and for waterman Rs.100/- for one day.

The Chief Superintendent is requested to attend the meeting convened by the District Educational Officer on 09-05-2018 at 11.00 A.M at the venue informed by the DEO where the District Coordinator will attend and disburse the center advance and the non confidential material for the conduct of the test. All the Departmental officers will attend and the District Revenue Officer who is the District level Observer, will also participate and discuss the modalities for the smooth conduct of the test and may issue suitable instructions. It is informed that the Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer who is appointed by the Secretary APREI Society are the joint custodians for the confidential material and responsible for the smooth conduct of the test at the centre.

For RDC-CET there will be three group papers of each 40 marks of objective type multiple choice questions in addition to General English paper (common to all courses) is of 30 marks of objective type multiple choice questions totaling 150 marks in each course. Each question is given in both English and Telugu versions.

A certain number of question paper packets of APRJC & RDC CET-2018 are also kept in reserve in the DEO bulk. In case of emergency need, the Chief Superintendents should intimate the DEO for obtaining the required number of Question Paper Booklets immediately from the DEO bulk and see that all the students get the question paper booklets. INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CHIEF SUPERINTENDENTS:

1. Necessary steps are being taken to allot the last centre as mixed centre for all the groups of Inter and Degree. However as a general rule in all the centres APRJC-CET candidates will be allotted depending on the strength of the RDC-CET Candidates. Centre wise candidates allotment will be sent in advance for information.

2. The Chief Superintendents are requested to prepare the seating plan, keeping in mind the paper code table given, the day before the exam and make necessary seating arrangements.

3. The Chief Superintendent will organize a meeting to the invigilators allotted by the DEOs at 8.30 a.m. on the day of the Test and discuss the modalities and instructions on the conduct of the Test. They should also appoint one clerk to the center and one attender/ watermen @ 50 students allotted.

4. The Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer are requested to inform to the Station House Officer concerned, for making protection arrangements on the examination day at the Centre.

5. Display Room wise seating plan at a prominent place at the center. 6. The candidates should be allowed to enter their rooms 20 Min. before the

commencement of the test with their Hall Tickets. 7. No candidate should be allowed into the examination hall after commencement of the

test and not to leave the examination hall till the completion of the test. 8. The Chief Superintendent is requested to admit all the candidates into the examination

hall after verifying the Hall Tickets. They are further informed, to instruct all the invigilators to verify the “candidate- Hall Ticket produced – photo attendance sheet” to avoid impersonation.

9. Neither the Chief Superintendent nor the Departmental Officer is authorized to change the group or examination center of any candidate, under any circumstances except when they are instructed by the Convenor through the DEO/District Coordinator to do so.

10. The candidate is instructed to go through the particulars given in Hall Ticket such as date of birth, reservation category, Special reservation category etc. If any candidate approaches either the Chief Superintendent or the Departmental Officer with a request to effect change in particulars (except group), then the Chief Superintendent can effect such change in Photo Attendance Sheet and take a request letter from the candidate. The Chief Superintendent is requested to forward all such request letters to the Convener in a separate sealed cover.

11. The Chief Superintendent should check the Hall Tickets of the Candidates at random and compare with their photo on the Hall Ticket and avoid impersonation. If they notice any difference, find any forbidden material they may be booked under MALPRACTICE. OMR answer Sheets of such candidates should be forwarded to the Convenor in a Separate Sealed Cover.

12. The Invigilator should see that all the candidates should write their Hall Ticket No. on the Question Paper Booklet. No cell phones, pagers, Calculators, Electronic gadgets and Logarithmic tables are to be carried by the candidates into the Examination Hall. The Chief Superintendent is requested to instruct all the Invigilators and other personnel that the use of Cell phones are strictly prohibited in the examination Halls and while they are in the Examination duty.

13. The candidates can be allowed to take away their Question Paper Booklets after the completion of the exam. The Question Paper Key will be published in a week from the

date of entrance test. The students are advised to visit http://aprjdc.apcfss.in for key.

14. In the exceptional case, if the candidate fails to bring the Hall-ticket, the Chief Superintendent may allow the candidate into the examination hall after verifying the genuineness based on the details available in the OMR answer sheet and photo attendance sheet.

OPENING OF THE QUESTION PAPER PACKETS 15. The Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer are instructed to convene a meeting with all the invigilators by 8.30A.M, on the day of test to review the arrangements made, handover the copies of the instructions to the invigilators and issue any other necessary instructions for the smooth conduct of the test and allot the rooms for the invigilators following the Lottery System and ask them to thoroughly verify the examination material including OMR Answer Sheets and Question Papers of the room to which they are allotted before they leave to the Examination Hall. 16. The Chief Superintendent is instructed to ensure that the seals on the question paper packets are intact and get the Signatures of at least two invigilators as well as the Departmental Officer and Chief Superintendent on the sealed question paper packets.

17. The Chief Superintendent is instructed to open the sealed question paper packets 15 Min. before commencement of the test jointly with Departmental Officer, after ensuring that all the invigilators are in the examination halls and the question papers are properly distributed as per the room wise strength allotted. 18. A Specimen copy of the OMR answer sheet containing the instructions to the candidates is enclosed for information and guidance.

FILLING OF OMR ANSWER SHEETS: The candidate should be informed that they should use: a) Blue/black Ball point pen to darken the relevant circle completely with thick dark.

b) The candidate has to put the signature in relevant box provided on side II of the OMR answer sheet.

c) The invigilator should sign with ball point pen in the box provided on side II of OMR answer sheet. This has to be done only after thorough verification of all the entries made by the candidate in the OMR Answer sheet and found correct in all respects.

d) Answers to the questions from 1 to 150 should be marked by fully shading the relevant circles with Blue/Black Ball Point Pen only. Candidate should not use

Pencil. If he/she uses pencil, the answer sheet will automatically be rejected by the computer for which the candidate is solely responsible. The partially shaded / indicated in any other manner /shaded may lead to loss of marks as the computer may totally reject the OMR answer sheet, which may result in loss of marks for which the candidate alone is responsible.

e) The invigilator is requested to instruct all the candidates that they should not shade more than one circle for a single question. Even a small trace left by the pen, either voluntarily or involuntarily in any circle other than the shaded one will lead to loss of mark for that question.

f) Using the whitener/blade/eraser or any kind of tampering to change the answers on OMR answer sheet will lead to invalidation.

19. The OMR answer sheet is having preprinted variable data with bar code. Hence it is very specific and identifiable, non-transferable and should be given to the particular candidates only. It is preprinted with candidate‟s photo and other particulars. If any damage is noticed to the bar code or OMR Answer sheet the Blank OMR should be used invariably and such usage details should be given in a separate proforma given for that purpose.

20. The candidate whose OMR answer sheet is found damaged has to fill his particulars such as Name, Father‟s name, Hall ticket Number, group, date of birth and reservation category etc. on blank OMR.

21. The invigilators should be instructed to sign in the box provided on side II of OMR sheets after verifying all entries in the OMR sheets filled by the candidates are correct in all respects. (The 20min. time before distribution of Question papers may be used for this purpose)

22. The Chief Superintendent is requested to instruct all the invigilators that, the candidates should write question paper booklet code in the box provided and put his/her signature in Photo Attendance sheets. If the candidate is absent the invigilator has to write “ABSENT” in red ink in photo attendance sheets. Since the photo attendance sheets are important documents, utmost care should be taken by the invigilator while the candidate made entries in photo attendance sheets.

23. The OMR sheets and the Question papers for those who are absent should be collected and packed separately immediately after 10.15 A.M. The unused OMR Answer Sheets and question papers too should be packed separately immediately after 10.15 A.M.

24. The Chief Superintendent should get the photo attendance sheets from all rooms immediately after 10.15 a.m. and write “PRESENT” with blue/black ink to all the Present candidates and “ABSENT” with Red ink to all the absent candidates in the Marked Copy of Nominal Roll and prepare Consolidated Absentee Statement. The Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer are cautioned that it is the most important document and they have to hold the Joint responsibility hence proper care should be taken while marking in the Marked Copy of the Centre Nominal Roll and in the instances the same needs to be produced before the Court of Law by the Convenor. The Chief Superintendent is also requested to Mark the absentees in the D- Form after thoroughly verifying the room wise NRominal Roll and Photo Attendance Sheets.

25. The Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer are requested to make rounds to each and every room and verify the filled in OMR Answer sheets at random.

PACKING OF OMR ANSWER SHEETS:

26. The Chief Superintendents are requested to securely bundle the used OMR Answer sheets group wise for APRJC and RDC in separate bundle and should pack them keeping card board sheets on both sides and seal carefully in the cover meant for USED OMR ANSWER SHEETS, so as to avoid any possible damage during transit.

27. All the forms that are supplied by the Convenor should be filled carefully and kept in the appropriate covers meant for them.

28. All the sealed covers are to be handed over to the DEO jointly by the Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer.

29. They should prepare the Center Expenditure Statement and hand over the acquittance, all the bills and vouchers for the advance received, and refund balance amount to the District Coordinator immediately.

30. They are requested to contact either the District coordinator or the DEO for immediate clarification on conduct of the test. They are requested to submit a detailed report on conduct of the test immediately on its completion in a sealed cover and hand over the same to the DEO.

*** *** *** I wish to state that the Society has decided to conduct the APRJC-CET & RDC-CET-2018 on 10-05-2018 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 P.M at all the district headquarters for admission into I year Intermediate & I year degree courses for the academic year 2018-19 in seven General, three minority AP Residential Junior Colleges, A P Residential Degree college (Men) at Nagarjunasagar, Guntur District and Silver jubilee Govt. College (Co-Ed), Kurnool in the state. The instructions for smooth conduct of the Test are as follows:

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENTS/INVIGILATORS

1. The Assistant superintendents i.e. the invigilators are requested to attend the meeting Convened by the Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer by 8.30 A.M. on 10-05-218 to discuss the action plan and to take the necessary guidelines for the smooth conduct of the Test. They are requested to read the instructions with utmost care and follow them without any deviation. 2. They should verify the Hall Ticket numbers allotted to their rooms with the Photo printed attendance sheets and the number of OMR Answer sheets issued by the Chief Superintendent. 3. All the candidates should be allowed to enter their examination halls 20 Min. before the commencement of the test with their Hall Tickets. No candidate should be allowed without proper Hall Ticket. 4. No candidate should be allowed in to the examination hall after the commencement of the test. 5. No candidate should be allowed to leave the examination hall till the completion of the test i.e. 12.30 p.m. 6. They are not supposed to leave the examination hall without substitute being arranged by the Chief Superintendent. 7. They should compare and ensure the correctness of the candidate‟s physical features with the photo on the Hall Ticket and tally the signature of the candidate on the OMR Answer sheet with that of on the Photo Attendance Sheet and on the Hall Ticket so as to avoid any impersonation. If they doubt any candidate‟s credentials, they should immediately inform the Chief Superintendent or the Departmental Officer. 8. They should instruct all the students in the examination hall that the OMR answer sheet should not be folded / wrinkled / teared / soiled under any circumstances and inform them that a second OMR answer sheet will not be supplied. 9. The OMR answer sheet is very specific and identifiable, non-transferable and should be given to the particular candidate only. It is preprinted with candidate‟s photo and other particulars of the candidate. The candidate may be provided a Blank OMR answer sheet, if the preprinted OMR answer sheet is damaged or spoiled. 10. The candidate whose OMR answer sheet is damaged, he/she is instructed to bring to the notice of Invigilator. The candidate is provided with a blank OMR answer sheet by the Invigilator. The candidate has to fill his particulars such as Name, Father‟s name, Hall ticket Number, group, date of birth, reservation category etc. on Blank OMR.

FILLING OF OMR ANSWER SHEET:

The candidate should be informed that they should use: a) Blue/black Ball point pen to darken the relevant circle completely with thick dark. b) The candidate has to put the signature in relevant box provided on side II of the OMR answer sheet. c) The invigilator should sign with ball point pen in the box provided on side II of OMR answer sheet. This has to be done only after thorough verification of all the entries made by the candidate in the OMR Answer sheet and found correct in all respects.

d) Answers to the questions from 1 to 150 should be marked by fully shading the relevant circles with Black/Blue Ball Point Pen only. Candidate should not use Pencil. If he/she uses pencil, the answer sheet will automatically be rejected by the computer for which the candidate is solely responsible. The partially shaded / indicated in any other manner / shaded may lead to loss of marks as the computer may totally reject the OMR answer sheet, which may result in loss of marks for which the candidate alone is responsible.

e) The invigilator is requested to instruct all the candidates that they should not shade more than one circle for a single question. Even a small trace left by the pen, either voluntarily or Involuntarily in any circle other than the shaded one will lead to loss of mark for that question. f) Using the whitener/blade/eraser or any kind of tampering to change the answers on OMR answer sheet will lead to invalidation.

11. They should verify whether the question paper booklets supplied by the Chief Superintendent are in sequential order i.e. codes A,B,C, D + A,B,C,D etc., with that of Group wise requirement (Group 1: MPC / EET Group 2:BPC / CGDT. Group 3:MEC / CEC : for APRJC-CET only) for the candidates allotted to their rooms and distribute the same sequentially as per the seating plan. 12. There is no jumbling system for RDC CET. Hence only one set of Question Paper is given for all Courses. 13. The invigilators should distribute the OMR answer sheets and question paper booklets to all the candidates present in the examination hall and handover the OMR answer sheets and question paper booklets of the absentees only after 10:15 AM, to the Chief Superintendent. 14. All the Invigilators should instruct and see that the Hall Ticket Number is written on the Top of the Question Paper Booklet by the Candidate immediately. 15. The invigilator is here by instructed to see that, the candidate should write question paper booklet code in the box provided and put his signature in the photo attendance sheet. If the candidate is absent, the invigilator has to write “ABSENT” in red ink in the photo attendance sheets. Since the photo attendance sheets are important document, utmost care should be taken while entries are made by the candidate. 16. No cell phones, pagers, Calculators, Electronic gadgets and Logarithmic tables are to be carried by the candidates into the Examination Hall. 17. The Invigilators are strictly prohibited from carrying Cell Phones in to the examination Halls and while they are in the Examination duty. 18. Do not allow the candidates to converse with each other during the examination and there is no disturbance to the candidates by any one. If any forbidden material is found with any candidate it should be brought to the notice of the Chief superintendent and Departmental Officer. Such candidates will be booked under “MALPRACTICE CASES” and the invigilator has to give his / her remarks also. 19. The invigilator is requested to collect OMR answer sheets group wise for APRJC-CET, & RDC-CET and handover the same to the chief superintendent. 20. The candidate‟s hall ticket should be allowed to be retained by the candidate after the completion of the examination. 21. The candidates can be allowed to take away their Question Paper Booklets after the completion of the exam.

22. The Question Paper Key will be published in a week from the date of entrance test. The

students are advised to visit http://aprjdc.apcfss.in for key.

23. Cooperate with the District Level Observer, the DEO and the District coordinator when they visit his/her room. 24. The invigilator is fully responsible for the smooth conduct of the Test in his/her room and

if any lapses noticed in his / her room and suitable departmental action will be initiated. Note:- The Assistant Superintendents are informed to carry out the changes if any in the Reservation/Spl. The APRJC & RDC-CET-2018 is scheduled to be conducted on 10-05-2018 from 10.00A.M. to 12.30P.M at all the District Head Quarters. The District Educational Officers have constituted Examination Centres, appointed Chief Superintendents and Society has appointed Departmental Officers for each centre. The District Coordinators are hereby directed to follow the instructions given below for smooth conduct of the APRJC & DC CET-2018:

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE DISTRICT CO - ORDINATORS

1. The District Coordinator is the prime resource person and he will be the direct representative of the APREI Society at the District level. Hence they have to provide necessary guidance to all the personnel involved in conduct of the test and coordinate with all the Centres.

2. He has to assist the District Educational Officer in various acts right from the constitution of examination centers and appointment of Chief Superintendents to the complete handing over of the post examination material to the Convenor through the Route Officer.

3. He should assist the District Educational Officer while receiving the examination material from the Route Officer and while depositing the confidential material in the District Treasury under the joint custody of District Revenue Officer and District Educational Officer.

4. He has to attend the meeting convened by the District Educational Officer along with District Revenue Officer on 09-05-2018 AT 11.00 A.M to discuss the instructions issued to the different cadres of personnel involved in the conduct of the test, review the arrangements to be made at the centers, to distribute the non-confidential material and to issue any other necessary guidelines. The District Coordinator should disburse the advance to the centers in the meeting itself after obtaining proper receipt.

5. The District Coordinator should explain to the Chief Superintendents and the Departmental Officers about the mode of the test, the model seating plan, the question paper code‟s etc., in the meeting and the instructions issued to Chief Supdts., Dept. Officers and invigilators should be discussed for clarity.

6. The candidates can be allowed to take away their Question Paper Booklets after the completion of the exam. The Question Paper Key will be published in a week after the

conduct of the test. The students are advised to visit http://aprjdc.apcfss.in for key.

There will be three group papers of 40 marks each in objective type multiple choice questions in addition to General English paper for 30 marks (common to all groups). Total 150 marks for each group. Each question is given in both English and Telugu version. There is no jumbling system for RDC-CET. Hence only one set of question paper is given for all courses.

7. A certain number of question paper packets of APRJC & RDC CET-2018 are also kept In reserve in the DEO bulk. In case of emergency need, The Chief Superintendents should intimate the DEO for obtaining the required number of Question Paper Booklets immediately from the DEO bulk and see that all the students get the question paper booklets.

8. Necessary steps are being taken to allot one centre as mixed centre for all the groups of Inter and RDC-CET candidates.

9. The OMR answer sheet is pre printed variable data with bar code. Hence it is very specific and identifiable, non-transferable and should be given to the particular candidate only. It is preprinted with candidate‟s photo and other particulars. If any damage is noticed to the bar code or OMR Answer sheet the Blank OMR should be used and such usage details should be given in a separate proforma given for that purpose.

10. The candidate whose OMR answer sheet is damaged, he/she is instructed to bring to the notice of Invigilator. The candidate is provided with a blank OMR answer sheet by the Invigilator. The candidate has to fill his particulars such as Name, Father‟s name, Hall ticket Number, group, date of birth, reservation category etc. on Blank OMR.

11. The candidate is instructed to go through the particulars given in Hall Ticket such as date of birth, reservation category, Special reservation category etc. If any candidate approaches either the Chief Superintendent or the Departmental Officer with a request to effect change in particulars (except group), then the Chief Superintendent can effect

such change in Photo Attendance Sheet and take a request letter from the candidate. The Chief Superintendent is requested to forward all such request letters to the Convenor in a separate sealed cover.

12. The Chief Superintendent is requested to furnish the abstract particulars given at the end of centre nominal roll i.e. marked copy. Utmost care should be taken while furnishing blank OMR particulars.

14. The DCO should inform the Chief Superintendents that they have to intimate the Station House Officer about the conduct of the test, for making necessary bando-basth arrangements at the examination centers on the day of the Test.

15. The DCO should inform all the Chief Superintendents and Departmental Officers that they have to follow the instructions carefully and not to give any scope for any sort of criticism by the media.

16. The DCO has to assist the District Educational Officer while distributing the confidential material to the centers.

17. The District Co-ordinator will be paid Rs.2400/- towards vehicle/conveyance charges for distribution and receipt of confidential material from exams centers up to 12 centers Rs. 200/- extra for each extra center. The Route officers will be appointed for the purpose of handing the confidential material to the Chief Superintendents and to assist the Chief Superintendents in handing the confidential to the DEO/Coordinators.

18. The DCOs are here by cautioned to restrict the expenditure to the extent of advance sanctioned. If the adjustment bills are not submitted to the amount sanctioned or if they themselves advance and incur expenditure, requests for payment will not be considered.

19. For any shortage in submission of bills no reminder will be issued and the equal amount will be directly deducted from their salary bill of the subsequent month. Therefore the District Coordinator is requested to obtain centre wise expenditure and the vouchers for the remuneration paid and hand over in full shape to the Route Officer and obtain receipt. If they do not do so the same will be deducted from their salary.

20. The District Coordinator should visit the examination centers during the conduct of the Test, random check the OMR answer sheets of the candidates, verify the entries made by the candidates and give guidelines to the invigilators if necessary.

21. The D.E.O. will appoint the Route Officers. Six Examination Centres should be allotted to each Route Officer. The Route Officer has to distribute Pre-Examination material i.e. OMR Answer Sheets and Question Papers etc., to the Chief Superintendents and assist the Chief Superintendent in handing over the Post- Examination material soon after the completion of the Examination. The D.E.O. is requested to inform the Route Officers about their appointment in advance and instruct them to attend at the District Treasury Office (DTO) by 7.30 a.m. on 10-05-2018. The Dist. Coordinator should assist the D.E.O. in this regard.

22. .The District Coordinator is requested to receive the post Examination material item wise as per Checklist 4 all the sealed covers pertaining to a single item must be packed with plastic rope in a single bundle, and handover post examination material item wise as per checklist 5 to the Route Officer.

23. They should obtain the CENTER EXPENDITURE STATEMENT, acquaintance for the remuneration paid the necessary bills and vouchers for the advance sanctioned to the centers from each and every Chief Superintendent.

24. The DCO can take the assistance of one JL / PGT / TGT/ one clerk and one office subordinate for two days, preferably from his/her institution.

GUIDELINES ON CONDUCT OF THE TEST

1. The District Revenue Officer is informed that the Test will be conducted at the District level under the direct supervision of the District Educational Officer. The District Revenue Officer of the District will be the Observer for the conduct of the Test. One senior Principal from the APRE Institutions of the District is appointed as the District Coordinator to assist the DEO in the discharge of their duties. One Principal/Junior Lecturer/PGT is also appointed as the Departmental Officer to each of the Examination centers who will act as Joint custodian along with the Chief Superintendent in the conduct of the test.

2. The District Educational Officer has constituted the Examination Centres, appointed the Chief Superintendents and required number of invigilators for the Conduct of the Test. The chief Superintendents will appoint other necessary staff. The secretary has issued necessary instructions to all the personnel involved in the Conduct of the Test.

3. The complete examination material will be sent through the Route Officer in a vehicle with armed escort, one or two days before the commencement of the test. The confidential material (OMR Answer Sheets and Centre wise sealed Question Paper Bundles) has to be deposited in the District Treasury under the Joint custody of the District Revenue Officer and the District Educational Officer. The same has to be handed over to the Chief Superintendents and the Departmental Officers at their Centres by 9.00 a.m. on the day of the Test by the District Educational Officer.

4. The District Revenue Officer is requested to attend the meeting convened by the District Educational Officer along with District Coordinator, to all the Chief Superintendents and the Departmental Officers at 11.00 a.m. on 09-05-2018, interact with the participants, discuss the instructions issued to all the personnel involved in the conduct of the Test. Clarify the doubts if any, guide them and chalk out a plan of action for the smooth conduct of the test.

5. Soon after the completion of the meeting they are requested to pay a personal visit to all the examination centres and verify the pre examination arrangements made by the Chief Superintendent and satisfy themselves. If any further arrangements are required instruct the Chief Superintendent accordingly. In this regard it is informed that the District Educational Officers were requested to constitute the centers which are having sufficient accommodation for 200-300 (Optimum -240)strength, seating facilities and are accessible to the candidates. Further they are requested not to allot the centers which are having insufficient accommodation and thereby cause inconvenience to the candidates. We hope all the constituted centers are having sufficient facilities.

6. They are requested to ensure proper distribution of the confidential material to all the examination centers by 9.00 a.m. through the Route Officers who are to be appointed by the District Educational Officer @ one Route Officer for six Examination centres.

7. They are requested to pay personal visit to all the Examination Centres during the exam and see whether the seating plan is in accordance with the guidelines issued, randomly check the Hall Tickets of the Candidates. If they notice any deviation or find any outsiders, impersonation, malpractice, or the invigilator himself conversing with the students they are requested to issue suitable instructions to the Chief Superintendent and the Departmental Officer and book all such cases under „Malpractice‟.

8. The OMR answer sheet is having pre printed variable data with bar code. Hence it is very specific and identifiable, non-transferable and should be given to the particular candidates only. It is preprinted with candidate‟s photo and other particulars. If any damage is noticed to the bar code or OMR Answer sheet the Blank OMR should be used and such usage details should be given in a separate proforma given for that purpose.

9. Use of cell phone by the Invigilators and students and other staff during the examination period is strictly prohibited.

10. The candidates can be allowed to take away their Question Paper Booklets after the completion of the exam. The Question Paper Key will be published in a week from the date of conduct of Entrance Test. The students are advised to visit

11. The DROs are requested to handover Proper receipt to the District Co-ordinator for remuneration paid i.e., Rs. 1500/- and send a detailed report on the conduct of the Exam in a separate Sealed Cover. The sealed cover may be handed over to the DEO for onward transmission to the Secretary/Convenor.
