Introduction

We are now in the 21st century, the digital century, part of history where technology

blooms, and electronic devices sprouted everywhere. Large buildings and facilities, flooding

appliances, and so many gadgets are on the trend but power shortage is what the world suffers in

exchange. People are consuming so much energy. The earth is facing major power problems and

the frequent solution to this is shutting down electric systems that cause blackout and brownout

to so many communities, unready and uninformed. Many activities are interrupted, so many

important things are delayed, crowding appointments are cancelled, and studying students are

left in the dark, no light to read any letter. Power shortage brings too many errands in the modern

people’s lives. It would intervene every people’s works. But bigger problem is faced by people

who do not experience the progress of technology, the communities that do not experience the

presence of electricity at home. They would not be able to read at night or see things clearly in

the absence of light.

Good thing there are generators. These are devices that convert mechanical energy to

electrical energy. Through this, power shut down may not be so much heavy. Halted activities

will be enjoyed and continued again. Light would be available to studying students. We won’t

sacrifice substantial works anymore because of this innovation. Brighter light would somehow

be available in communities where electricity is not present. In times of emergency, blackouts or

so, simple generators can be used to substitute flashlights. Simple generator is a simple way to

generate electricity. It would be innovated to something bigger and brighter, a base for complex

ones.

Hypothesis

With the simple things used:

Magnetic Wire

Cardboard

Lightbulb

Magnets

Stick or Rod

,we can produce adequate energy to light a bulb or charge a battery by spinning the stick fast.

There are factors to be considered in producing energy through the preceding materials.
