Were Western Sydney born and bred.

When Busways started operating transport services in Blacktown in 1942, it was

just a small town surrounded by bush and armland. As the region has grown and

fourished, so too has Busways. We have become one o NSWs largest private bus

operators with more than 1400 employees and nearly 700 buses.

From October 6 2013 our operations in this region will increase to more than 460

employees working rom our depots operating almost 70 bus routes.

Although covering an expanding operational area, at our heart we are

locally run so were serious about delivering quality, eective and ecient

bus services that best meet the needs o the wider community.

BUSWAYS WILL BE YOUR BUS SERVICE

    PROVIDER FROM OCTOBER 6 2013.

IF YOU SEE A BUSWAYS BUS ON YOUR REGULAR ROUTE - HOP ON!

From October 6 2013 Busways will be the bus operator servicing the Contract

1 bus network in Sydneys West.

The 300 bus contract will see Busways taking over services in the Penrith, Richmond

and Windsor areas, as well as continuing to operate services in the Blacktown and

    Mt Druitt area.

On October 6 Busways will run buses on the existing unchanged bus route network

to the same bus timetable eaturing only minor changes to connecting train times

in anticipation o the new Sydney Trains timetable commencing on October 20.

Were excited to expand our operations and look orward to providing all the

residents served by Contract 1 with quality customer ocused bus services.

Keep an eye on your letterbox - a bus network region guide and timetables will be delivered to households soon.
