• BS – Bachelor of Science (Dental Hygiene)• AA – Associate of Arts• AAT – Associate of Arts in Teaching• AS – Associate of Science• AAS – Associate of Applied Science• Certificate You're encouraged to complete your AA, AS or AAT
prior to transferring.
Students who graduate with an AAS degree may also have the opportunity to transfer into a BAAS Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree at a university.

Prerequisite
• A prerequisite is a conditional requirement which must be satisfied prior to enrollment in a course or program.
• Any course that is a prerequisite course has to be completed with a grade of “C” or higher.
A prerequisite may be a course or a test score.

Core Complete• “Basics” required for all transfer degrees.• If your degree is an Associate of Arts (AA) or
Associate of Science (AS), you may be required to be Core Complete before you can graduate. tjc.edu/coretjc.edu/transfer

• Good Standing ≥ 2.00 GPA• Academic Probation < 2.00 GPA• Academic Suspension = Failure to earn 2.0 coursework
during semester of probation
Students on Academic Probation or Academic Suspension should visit with an advisor.

College Ready (CR) = TSI Complete• Based on TAKS, ACT, SAT, STARR End of Course (Algebra II, English III) ,
and/or TSI Assessment test scores• Can have partial exemption if certain criteria met
Not College Ready (NCR) = Non-TSI Complete• Determination based on TSI Assessment results
Developmental Education Classes may be assigned based on TSI Assessment Scores. Dev Ed courses do not give you college credit & do not contribute towards your GPA.
