SUNNY SAN DIEGO
WHY ATTENDEES RETURN YEAR AFTER YEAR“I have been fortunate to attend many SNIC meetings over the last 15 years. As the coordinator of a large purchasing cooperative, I always find these gatherings extremely useful and informative as the casual, relaxed tone of the sessions provides a great opportunity to spend one-on-one time with manufacturers. While ANC is always awesome, and the premier school nutrition event
of the year, SNIC provides attendees with an opportunity to see what is new in the marketplace in a smaller, simpler, but no less productive environment.”
Tim Goossens, Food Service Director, Laconia, NHCoordinator, New Hampshire Buying Group------------------------“SNIC is one of my favorite meetings because it provides industry and our school nutrition customers the opportunity to spend time together to discuss how we can combine our efforts to keep on top of the issues that we each have in providing nutritional foods and services to their custom-ers—our nation’s kids. I appreciate that this conference is an educational experience. As we
network with foodservice directors, we hear how current regulations and legislative issues are affecting their programs. The shared knowledge from both industry and foodservice operators helps us know where to focus our efforts to help keep programs strong.”Shirley J. Brown, EdD, SNS, Director, Product Training K-12Rich Products Corporation
