Online Registration Families may complete part 1 (verify student information, request rural busing, or deny lunch account access) beginning March 28. The scheduling of classes (Arena Scheduling) through Skyward Family Access (saukprairieschools.org/parent) is open April 6 at 6:00 pm until May 18 at 10:00 pm. We have added a “Subject” code to all classes to help you search. A search by Subject and Period is the best way to search and create a schedule. Be sure to view the schedule tab before submitting your class requests to verify it is what you want.

Other offerings include: high school credit recovery courses, Sport, Music, Babysitting, Human Anatomy & Physiology, and an Ice Age Trail clinic. Please see our Summer School catalog online for more information. Catalogs are sent home with 4k through 6th grade students. Catalogs are available at the Community Center, the high school and middle school offices and your local libraries. Students must be registered by May 18 to participate in any Summer School program.

Morning swim lessons offered coincide with morning class periods. We also offer lessons after morning classes from 11:45 am – 12:30 pm; however, busing is not available for these Period 4 lessons. Registration for all morning and evening Preschool and Youth swim lessons is through Skyward Family Access under the Arena Scheduling tab. New this year for morning swim lessons!! When enrolling your child in morning swim lessons, you will no longer be able to register for 2 consecutive terms. For those students enrolled in a full morning of classes and in need of a class to complete the period they are registered for swim, we have created a Term 1 and a Term 2 class called Olympic Mania. Unfortunately, the Online Arena Scheduling program is not allowing families to register for Olympic Mania and

a term of swim. Register your child for the swim lesson, then please call our office or email [email protected]. We will manually add your child to the correct section of Olympic Mania. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Olympic Mania is only for children enrolled in a full morning of classes. Questions? Call 608-643-8386.

Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment. You will be notified by phone or email if your child’s class is canceled. Classroom assignments are subject to change due to construction projects. Please verify room assignments in Skyward closer to the start of classes beginning.

Sauk Prairie Boys Basketball – Knockdown Club 10,000+ Made Shots – Summer/Fall 2016

The Knockdown Club is a prestigious group of basketball players who have committed to “Living Like a Champion” and have separated themselves from the crowd through their commitment and dedication to the game. The players in this club understand that hard work is essential to achieving goals and to reaching the highest potential.

KNOCKDOWN CLUB RULES :

1. Must be a Sauk Prairie Boys Basketball Player for 2016/17 season in Grades 3–12.

2. Must sign up to join the club and Membership Materials will be sent to you.

3. Must shoot: games shots at game spots at game speed. ONLY GAMELIKE SHOTS COUNT.

4. Record all of your made shots on the calendar grid from: June 1 – November 1.

5. Your parent/guardian must sign your Honesty Contract.

6. You must make at least 10,000 shots in the time-frame to join the club.

7. Additional “Makes” can be earned: a. 100 – for each night of league attended or a tournament day b. 200 – for each team workout or skill camp c. 25 – for each OTI attended 8. Free throws count and should make up about 35% of the shots you take/make

9. Turn all paperwork in by November 1 in order to qualify.

10. Work on all facets of your game in addition to your shooting. The goal is to make you a better basketball player and help our program achieve greatness.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:Can I just guess how many shots I make? No, the purpose of the program is to give you confidence in knowing that you have worked hard on your game and deserve to make big shots and win games. Most workouts will have a shot make total on them to help you keep track. Another suggestion is to always shoot for a certain number of makes from each spot and keep track of your total spots.

Do my parents need to watch me shoot every shot? No, we are on an honor system and respect your character as a young man. We do sign an Honesty Contract to help remind us that the only way to success is through your hard work and dedication…..no shortcuts.

What do I get for making the club? If all necessary paperwork is turned in and you reach the goal by November 1, you will receive a Members Only T-shirt and special recognition at a high school game.

What type of shots count? Only game shots at game spots taken at game speed. We are training to prepare for the highest level of basketball. We want to help you be ready for game time.

chuck Hall Memorial FieldSauk City Athletic Field has a long tradition rooted in community charity, community events, and community baseball. The original gift to the village was made in 1934 by Charles and Bertha Steidtmann, when they sold some of their farmland to the village of Sauk City for $1. In 1975, it became known as Jaycee Park.

The park is tied to historic moments as well. In 1936 it became the first site in

Wisconsin to have a lighted field. Today it is home to Sauk Prairie High School baseball, Babe Ruth teams, and the Sauk Prairie Twins.

In July 2014, the ballpark was renamed Chuck Hall Memorial Field in honor of Chuck Hall and his family. For more information on the great history of this ballpark, please visit the link below.
