Zuhair Al Zahrani a 26 years old OHS Officer at Saudi Readymix. He lives with his family in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. Zuhair has graduated from one of EFE’s courses, Work Place Success Readiness Program which was funded by Citi foundation. Zuhair was recently graduated with a diploma in Occupational health and safety. Zuhair comes from a supportive family who has believed in him from step one and had high hopes on his ability to constantly work on improving his skills either on a personal or career base. Zuhair was hesitant regarding taking a course on how to be successful at work which he thought he already had enough knowledge regarding that topic but with the encouragement he received from his work he took the extra mile and registered to attend. Putting his effort to benefit from this course, Zuhair mentioned that ever since he took it he has been working day and night to benefit from every lesson he learned from it, every awakening moment and how the trainer intended to increase his self-awareness. Zuhair mentioned that one day he was just about to let his emotions interfere and lead the situation when it popped to his mind how emotional intelligence was one of the most topics that affected him through the course and how customers service most important guideline was not to allow emotions get in your way when you find yourself in a sensitive situation, given that he decided to act in the most professional way possible, he thanked god that what he has experienced happened after taking the course otherwise there would’ve been a lot of mess he had to deal with.Zuhair now advises all his colleagues to never let work get in the way of improving and building new personal skills which will reflect on the way they present themselves and their companies in the best matter. Zuhair is confident that EFE graduates are eligible to enter the work place with the tools needed to succeed and prove their ability to deal with whatever comes in their way throughout their work career. Zuhair is an ambitious person and he is looking forward on earning his upcoming promotion with hard work and good reputation among his colleagues.To Zuhair EFE’s course was one of it’s kind given the fact that it was looking at his career life with a whole new perspective, as to Zuhair it’s not only luck that gets successful people where they are, it’s how they present themselves and leave a good impression on whomever they bump into.Thank you Citi Foundation for giving Zuhair the opportunityto put himself on the right track and be the best versionof himself.
