Elecnor Deimos is actively involved in all of the major European GNSS programmes.

We are responsible for three critical elements of Galileo’s Ground Segment (Message Generation Facility, Mission Support Facility and Raw Data Generator), and lead activities for EGNOS v3and Galileo 2nd Generation (G2G).

In addition, we oer a complete set of tools and products for GNSS system analysis and design.

SPACE – SATELLITE NAVIGATION

CapabilitiesOur capabilities cover a wide variety of competencies in the GNSS domain, including:

→ Systems Engineering, developing system architectures and interfaces.

→ Precise Orbit&Clock Determination for GPS and Galileo.

→ GNSS Algorithms and Performances for navigation, integrity, safety, and simulation toolstools.

→ Development Development of Ground Segment Systems for complex algorithms, as well as critical and real-time software systems.

→ GNSS Applications, such as naviga-tion in challenging environments and other advanced solutions.

→ GNSS Receiver Technology, includ-ing signal processing, user receiver algorithms, and hybridisation.

GNSS for SpaceThe use of GNSS in space oers key advantages such as: increasing space vehicle autonomy, enabling high precision navigation, and/or allowing the obtainment of unique science measurements. Elecnor Deimos is actively involved in several GNSS space studies:

→ Assessing the suitability and achievable performances of GNSSin high orbits.

→ Evaluating the suitability of using GNSS as primary navigation for Moon missions.

→ Dening improvements for the use of Galileo in space.

Space GNSS ReceiverElecnor Deimos is developing several space GNSS receivers:

→ G3-STAR low-cost space GNSS receiver for Cubesats, providing precise on-board orbitdetermination: FPGA-based dual frequency GPS / Galileo ( L1/E1 and L5/E6a), integrated in a space qualied Software Dened Radiohardware platform produced by GomSpace, and a Precise Point Positioning software libraryprovided by Fugro.

→ NAVIGA GPS / Galileo receiverfor European VEGA-C launcher(as SENER's subcontractor).
